      Singtel SIM Only 20 GB Plan

      Was told that they will port my number on Tuesday 2am Fast forward to Tuesday 12pm, they ported my number yet I am unable to connect to their service at all. If they can't even do a simple port-in, so much for bring the "best" in SG. This is not factoring in the fact that they overcharge for the kind of service that they provide

      i am terribly disappointed with Singtel. I would not give it any stars if it was possible. Here's why. I had a corporate account with Singtel Biz for about 4-5 years, it was a personal number I paid for myself. After changing companies, I was planning to port the number back to a personal account in June. Upon checking, I was informed that I had to wait 6 months to port out or pay in full the 6 months bill because my contract only ends in december. Kudos, so I continued to wait for 6 months, bear in mind, I already left the company that the corporate account was related to, and I had hell time trying to claim phone expenses at the new company. November swings by and I liking to be prepared, emailed the biz team at singtel to find out about the port out procedure and things I need to submit, prep, pay etc. I get reply with a list of things, port out form, bill payment in full, port out processing period etc. I also double checked the precise date that I must request for the port out to not incur any( ANY, I repeat, ANY) extra charges after the port out. Who likes getting surprised bills? Last week of november, I check the biz account bill and paid in full the amount on the system. 8 days before my contract end date, I send all the necessary and requested items to the biz team email. I made sure to indicate very clearly that I am requesting for the port out to be completed on that very date of my contract ending. (Singtel Biz email indicates port out request take 5-7 working days to process). 3 days after my contract termination date, I still could not port my number out of singtel. (FYI, Biz account cannot be port out directly to another service provider, only personal account, so I had to do biz to personal port then personal to new service provider port). So i emailed the biz team, Got the reply the following day, the request is STILL PROCESSING? Ok, I was still calm at this point because I wanted to keep good christmas vibes. 7 days after my contract termination date, finally the port out completed. I thought that was it with the drama and I can leave Singtel-drama behind. Apparently not. 2nd week of January (way to start a new year), Singtel biz sends me a paper mail indicating I owe them money. (insert WTF face). Down the rabbit hole of trying to get actual assistance I go. Singtel service number gives me an automated voice directing me to get their whatsapp bot. Whatsapp bot sends me to CSO who very kindly informs me they cannot assist biz issue, must go singtel biz whatsapp. I go singtel biz whatsapp, took a long time to trick the bot to send me to a CSO who then tells me, I have to call a toll free number. I called the toll free number, who initially reject me because the number i keyed in is not in their records(duh... I already port out of singtel entirely, thank god). By some stroke of luck, a CSO took the call. So I finally explained my query, why am i billed by singtel biz? The CSO very kindly tried to explain that the port out was only completed 7 days after my contract ended so they are billing a partial amount of my monthly contract amount??? ( I went to calculate, it was close to 70% of my contract month bill previously.) I told the CSO that my records are clear in indicating that I did everything within my means and more to ensure that Singtel Biz has everything needed from me to process the port out on the requested date of contract termination. and yet, I seem to have been penalized to pay extra for the negligence and incompetence of the backend Singtel team processing port out. The CSO then advised me to use the email thread I had previously to submit the port out request to challenge this bill. In the process of doing so at the moment. But i dont need the outcome to give my verdict on Singtel. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They are not the only service provider anyway. Add: my mother used singtel since 1980s, and stayed for 30 years, but she left them in 2015 because she was so disappointed in their service she didnt want to continue to use them.

      customer experience. I would definitely not use singtel if not for how widespread this network is. Customers are definitely not on their piority list. I would highly suggest everyone who is interested on singtel to read through every contract thoroughly as this company definitely likes to hide charges. I would change my network as soon as my contract ends. Network The 5g is good but my network constantly get cut off. At certain area. Totally random area, etc void decks. Not specifically underground. Definitely do not reccommend this network.

      [Billing] There are better options than SingTel when it comes to billing and charges. [Customer Service] As long as you are a high spender especially for postpaid services, you will get the best customer care available.

      Singtel Service sucks and they often sneak in hidden charges to their bills. the other Telcos in Singapore have more affordable data and phone plans. in terms of Service, its always slow and customers have to go through the tedious robocalls and its a pain to deal with

      Used singtel for a few years before switching to GOMO due to the features offered by GOMO for sim only plan. The network coverage is not bad for singtel

      [Customer Service] The Whatsapp Customer Service chat is terrible. The agent makes you wait 30min to a few hours to respond to your question then disappear again and the whole cycle continues. Some agent can even disappear on you suddenly in the middle of the chat without informing. Just a simple enquiry can drag on for days because of the incredibly slow response time. And the person does not apologise at all. Very terrible. And there is no avenue to feedback to the management.
