this is a scam service. they double charge on several months and if you don't check regularly, the money is just siphoned from your credit card. attempting to contact them to resolve the matter is futile. they do not pick up their phones, they do not reply their emails or their facebook page. put simply, you will just be ignored. dont put yourself through this, totally not worth it. and its not as if their service is any good. after throttling kicks in, even simple web pages take forever to load. pretty much unusable

Application was quite easy, but had a hiccup during delivery that was eventually resolved after contacting customer support. Network is buggy sometimes.

God awful service, walk away before it’s too late! 1) they throttle your data at around 40gb a month, stating that you have “throttled or tethered” your phone, even though I did not do so. 2) non existent customer service that replies to emails fucking slowly. Compared to circles.life customer service, this is a joke. 3)made me absorb the first month of fees even though they didn’t port my number, could not even refute since they said the bill starts upon delivery. 4)silence any and all criticisms on their Facebook comments so that new people will not know better.

The service so far is good, the support was very helpful and very prompt. It will be better if there is an in app for users to track their data usage.

Just to update everyone - No refund was received (> 1 week) after confirmed with bank. Immediately I called Zero mobile - no one answered the call. Feel very fishy and I decided to lodge a police report.

Shittiest Telco I ever use in my life. Those who plan to sign up because of their unlimited data do think twice. There are established Telco in the market providing the same service but at a higher price. There is always reason why there is a difference.

Speedwise it was fine. But service and billing? AWFUL. And don't believe in the "unlimited data" crap, they cap your data usage at 1GB, if you exceed it they threaten you with the fact that they can at their discretion charge you at commercial usage rate because you exceed 1GB. What rubbish! If I were to stream movies and NF and Youtube all day, I easily exceed 1GB! Zero service more like. Honestly, their billing was the most horrendous. Please please do not believe the good review here. Zero Mobile is a Nightmare from Day 1. I was lured by unlimited data for the promotion price of $59.95 but right from the beginning, I have NEVER enjoyed the promotion price. They kept billing me [email protected] $69.95, and despite the customer service crediting me back ONCE the extra billed amount, can you imagine EVERY month is a wrong bill? If I had signed up for $69.95 fine. But I didnt! Yet they were unable to fulfil their promise of $59.95 and neither was their customer service able to stop it from recurring! Every month I still get billed at $69.95! And I signed up in late Aug/early Sept 2018. it has only been a couple of months and never have they gotten a bill right. Their customer service is very bad, they will wilfully ignore certain emails/tickets, only selectively respond. Sometimes I don't get a response at all. I think they hope I will just give up and go away. Maybe they are overwhelmed by angry customer emails. Either way, if they should handle a case, they SHOULD resolve it. They never do. My problem keeps happening EVERY MONTH and I am so tired of it. Now I have a problem, I want to terminate but I am STUCK with them. How can I stop them from billing and terminate my service with them?? This is a true NIGHTMARE. I am still having problems with them and this is nearing HALF A YEAR of using their service! Can you believe it??!! What other telco is like that??

I think the good reviews are suspicious.... Zero Mobile have only recently started trying to improve their lousy customer service. So far they are still trying to resolve billing issues for me from last year Sept until now. They have also offered to change my plan to a lower priced one, still to be seen if that will solve their recurrent wrong billings. I kid you not, every month I write in and they refund the wrong amount in the next month, I don't understand why they can't just resolve the issue once and for all.

I was using over 25gb of data, I was from Circles previously, I wouldn't have switched over if it wasn't for the fact that Circles data connection is a joke in underground trains, it would have no data for long stretches on the circle line (circles don't have connection on circle line). I don't want to cancel on Zero because apart from their billing issues and lousy support, their data connection is fine, and with unlimited plan I no longer have to keep track of how much I am using, unlike Circles where I still have to top up when I exceed 24-25gb.

Can I give it ZERO rating ... faced problems from day one 1. They started giving 59 dollars unlimited plan.. when I asked them to change mine from 69 to 59 ... they state dits for new sign up only. 2. They did auto deduction twice in the month of December. ( good I cancelled my card due to some issues ) 3. Penalty charges of delayed payment are exorbitantly high - 25 dollars and it would be auto deducted. ( good I cancelled my card due to some issues ). Also fought them over for the penalty charges which they after multiple followups revoked, 4. speed and mobile call wise its ok ... but no cheap international roaming - no cheap international calling facility ( i started using Skype as for this ) Finally, I ported away a few days back to another service provider.

You know the $10 discount is applied when you pay your account on time right? Considering you got charged late payment fees, it’s obvious you didn’t pay your account on time. Just pay on time and save yourself some money. If you can’t pay on time then no point blaming the company. It’s not a charity, it’s a business year. Or you can always pay $100+ per month for similar option with other providers. Get unlimited everything for $60 bucks, still complain. Wth

So let’s weigh the plans of zero and zero1 assuming we are a high internet user/talktime. As for Zero, Plan 1 : you can get unlimited data, calls and sms at $69.95/month, which will give you unlimited data at 4G speed, but in accordance to fair use policy. There’s an ongoing promotion now for $59.95/month. There is no binding contract. Plan 2: If you are a high internet user, you could also take unlimited data at $49.95. Right now promotion at $39.95 which is a good deal. As for Zero1, Plan 3: You pay $39.90 for 9GB to unlimited data Where first 27GB would be at 4G speeds.free talk time of 450 mins ( incoming and outgoing each) Plan 4: You pay $29.90 for 3GB to unlimited data Where first 15GB would be at 4G speeds. Free talk time of 200 mins ( incoming and outgoing each) This means that its better to use ZERO1 (PLAN 3/4) if you would like a cheaper alternative best is to pay $29.90-$39.90 where your data of max 15-27GB would have high speed, with additional free talk time as a bonus as compared to only unlimited data through ZERO. Otherwise, if you have not much of money constraint and also someone who would spends lots of time talking on the phone, best is to take Zero plan of $69.90 which is now going at $59.90 . Where you can get unlimited calls/data/sms, which means you no need to worry on how much you use your phone since the monthly payment should be constant thoughtout which is so convenient . Zero1 offers “unlimited” data too at less than half the price ($29.99/month), but you only get 3GB of data at guaranteed 4G speed – any data beyond that is at “managed speeds”, whatever that means.

Outsourcing of Customer Service to places like the Philippines and Sri Lanka or other Asian countries are the normal. Coupled with high turnover rate means customer satisfaction index will be affected.

How much data do you use? and how fast do you need your data. If you can peg your data use to a certain number, compare the prices and see if it is worth it to take unlimited data. As some workplace has WIFI, you may get away with lower data caps. However if you have high data usage, also factor in how fast you need your data. Streaming ZERO X looks good but just day to day task i believe you can get a better deal with Zero1
