    [Customer Service] As I have a postpaid number now, I would like to enquire more about porting-in to my current Giga plan. However, Giga has disappointed me with their non-existent customer service. I was connected to the live chat agent thrice, after typing my enquiries, the agents decided to ghost me. Such bad customer experience, won’t recommend Giga to anyone.

    giga! SIM Only 6 GB Plan

    I’m very happy with my giga plan. The sim was delivered to my house very soon and porting and setting it up for use was a breeze. The network is fast and I have no problems so far. The pricing for the plans are one of the best and they frequently surprise me with pop up deals and perks too. Sometimes they even give additional data for free! The app is very user friendly with cool profile animations and shows you all your usage stats in one glance. You can easily view the pricing for all the add-ons and easily add them within seconds in the app. There is a chat for customer support within the app and I usually get a reply within seconds. Overall I highly recommend giga! for SIM only plans.

    No words to describe except user experiences cannot make it. IMDA should review their telco process before issue license. 3 weeks no news on port-in status. Customer service is a robot keep meow meow and never reach CEO mailbox. Its a great disappointment and regretful experience.

    giga! SIM Only 45 GB Plan

    Received the giga SIM card on Saturday morning. Sunday morning, the line was port over thus have to change to Giga SIM card. However, the SIM card was faulty and there was no network. informed via live chat on the giga app and they informed that they will take 72hrs or earliest 10mins to get back to me. I have also reached them via email on Sunday night, but now its Tuesday morning and no one gotten back to me. Without network and worrying about people calling and not able to call out is very very disruptive and im very very disappointed no attempt was made to contact me to change the SIM card. I never have this issue before and the customer service really have something to improve on.

    [Data] Data signal is bad, takes very long to load up 1 simple page and sometimes it just doesn’t load at all. Data seems to be using up very fast despite pages taking so long to load up. [Calls] It takes very long for the line to be connected whenever someone call me or when I call out. And the first 3 days, I can only receive calls from Starhub and home phone line, no other users from other telco(s)/service providers can reach me. I can make phone calls to anyone though. [Port Over] Porting over was smooth and easy. Smooth porting over is the only good experience I have so far. Will try for 1 month, if network is still so bad, I’ll switch to other telco/service provider.

Does giga! Have Roaming Plans?

Yes, gigaROAM offers roaming for APAC region and Rest of The World (ROTW).

Here's how you can activate roaming on giga!:

  • For APAC, Stack on the Jetset giga roaming pass at 1GB for $5 (valid for 5 days from time of activation)
  • Turn on 'Data Roaming' under your phone settings; no manual network selection is needed
  • Start surfing at your travel destination!
  • For ROTW, gigaRoam ROTW (Rest of the World) pass comes with 1GB at $15, valid for 15 days

Can I Port My Existing Number To giga!?

Yes. To port-in or transfer your existing number, ensure that:

  • It is an active postpaid number (prepaid numbers are not supported for now)
  • It is registered to your name with the same ID you're registering with giga
  • It is not with TPG (TPG does not support porting)
  • It is not on any contract with your current telco - this might incur early termination charges

Here's how the port-in or transfer process works:

  • When you choose to port-in/transfer your existing number from another telco to giga, a temporary giga number will first be assigned and delivered to you
  • Upon delivery of the temporary giga number, your request to port-in will be processed within the next working day
  • Once your port-in is approved, your temporary giga number will be automatically changed to your existing number

What Is Free Data Roll-Over?

Up to 25GB of unused data from your giga plan will be rolled over for another 2 renewal cycles. Take note that data from Jetset giga roaming pass and other packs will not be rolled over.

This way you'll never waste data!

Does giga! Provide Add-On data?

Simply stack on one of giga's packs:

  • Data pack: 1GB local data for $2
  • WhatsApp pack: 1GB local data for WhatsApp usage only, for $1
