      giga! SIM Only 6 GB Plan

      Borderline criminal service that should be avoided at all costs. To give a little more context, I recently misplaced my phone together with my giga SIM. As my number was connected to SingPass and Banking OTPs, it was utterly crucial to request for a replacement SIM ASAP. They take >72 hours to respond to a ticket + when I had provided my delivery details, they ghosted me and I had to re-open another ticket. Till today, 8 days later, I have still not received confirmation on a replacement SIM card. [Customer Service] -5 (Negative) stars for the customer service. I cannot believe the nonsense they provide. Reached out via email, in-app and Facebook Messenger. They respond only after 4 hours, and to make things worse, abruptly quits the conversation when asked about a giga ticket via email. Wow! [Mobile App] The mobile app is downright terrible. It frequently logs me out, and sometimes takes more than 3 minutes to sign me in on Wifi. Additionally, the pop-up to refer to your friends covers basically the entire screen when I am trying to get something important done, like waiting for a response in the live chat. All-in-all, only touch giga as a secondary SIM for data. Do not, I repeat, do not trust this subsidiary of Starhub for any of your daily needs or you will be sorely disappointed and flushed down the pipes.

      The Customer service sucks, totally not responsive. When tried to contact customer support, it is really very limited and not helpful at all. The chat function waiting time is more than 2 hours and when live agent is online, they dont respond to your question at all.

      [Ease of porting] Extremely easy to port over, didn't give me any issues at all. [Network] No issues with this as well, maybe because I don't stare at my phone 24/7. [Mobile App] Easy to keep track of the data I've used up for the month. You get to see the rollover data from the previous month as well.

      giga! SIM Only 60 GB Plan

      [Network] Is depend on which location, some location are fast but some location are CMI. [Customer Service] Hard to connect with the agent when using live chat, even when already connected to live chat with agent, they reply very slow. [Ease of porting] Less than a day to port over to giga when u received the sim card. [Mobile App] Sometime laggy. Regret porting over from gomo to giga, and now i port back again to gomo.

      giga! SIM Only 40 GB Plan

      Sign on to Giga at your own peril. There is almost non existent customer support. You can wait for ages for the live chat agent. They have also moved from 24/7 support to just 9am to 6pm support Mon-Sat. The porting in process is a nightmare (especially if you are a previous Giga customer and is trying to port back in). Their backend system is not designed for previous customers to port back in. A lot of work (and grief) is expected where the IT dept needs to do before the port-in is successful.

      Does giga! Have Roaming Plans?

      Yes, gigaROAM offers roaming for APAC region and Rest of The World (ROTW).

      gigaROAM

      Here's how you can activate roaming on giga!:

      • For APAC, Stack on the Jetset giga roaming pass at 1GB for $5 (valid for 5 days from time of activation)
      • Turn on 'Data Roaming' under your phone settings; no manual network selection is needed
      • Start surfing at your travel destination!
      • For ROTW, gigaRoam ROTW (Rest of the World) pass comes with 1GB at $15, valid for 15 days

      Can I Port My Existing Number To giga!?

      Yes. To port-in or transfer your existing number, ensure that:

      • It is an active postpaid number (prepaid numbers are not supported for now)
      • It is registered to your name with the same ID you're registering with giga
      • It is not with TPG (TPG does not support porting)
      • It is not on any contract with your current telco - this might incur early termination charges

      Here's how the port-in or transfer process works:

      • When you choose to port-in/transfer your existing number from another telco to giga, a temporary giga number will first be assigned and delivered to you
      • Upon delivery of the temporary giga number, your request to port-in will be processed within the next working day
      • Once your port-in is approved, your temporary giga number will be automatically changed to your existing number

      What Is Free Data Roll-Over?

      Up to 25GB of unused data from your giga plan will be rolled over for another 2 renewal cycles. Take note that data from Jetset giga roaming pass and other packs will not be rolled over.

      This way you'll never waste data!

      Does giga! Provide Add-On data?

      Simply stack on one of giga's packs:

      • Data pack: 1GB local data for $2
      • WhatsApp pack: 1GB local data for WhatsApp usage only, for $1
