  • There was an offer back in 2018 where I was able to get a "lifetime" 1gb/month plan at $0. It was just a gimmick I guess and delivery fees were almost the price of that 1gb.

    Circles.Life SIM Only Base Plan

I'm on the 20GB/month plan ($28 monthly), but intend on porting over to GOMO because it's $10 cheaper . [Network] Connectivity's generally OK, but there have been instances where I had poor to no 4G connection in certain parts of Singapore — whereas my non-Circles.Life friends did. Also, I purchased 1GB of data for a recent Bali trip through the app — and though the process was seamless, my connection sucked. I ended up having to use a friend's personal hotspot about 80% of the time. [Customer Service] I first ported over from StarHub because I was enticed by Circles' corporate plan, which offered free data for the first 3 months...except they charged me on my first 2 months anyway. They eventually waived my bills for the next three months, but only after I raised it with them. [Billing] You can only cancel your plan after the 2-month mark. Also, bill shock is a thing even with Circles! I accepted a 40-min incoming call (made using Skype credits) while in Malaysia and ended up being charged ~$113. There was no in-app notification alert during the length of the call. Felt a bit like a rude awakening, though I should've known better.

[Mobile App] [Billing] [Network] Signing up with the promotions is quite worth it. I got 6 months of unlimited data when I first signed up with the promotion. Network is pretty good and stable. Occasionally it will be slow on the train especially when it is crowded but not disruptive. The mobile app is very user friendly and allows you to buy add ons and view your bill easily. You can also start a live chat with customer service quite seamlessly.

    Circles.Life SIM Only $5 Plan

[Network] The cheapest there is in Singapore, network has always been good for me so far. [Mobile App] Useful app that provides lots of information. Surprised that the 3 big telcos didn't have such a useful app yet.

Citi M1 Card

Circles.Life

M1

No. Honestly it doesn't have any good benefits. In the beginning it still have free monthly data if you pay m1 bill via it. However, the free data add on is only for one year. Since you're going to CL, then this card has no value unless you only wanted to keep a Citibank card but there's other Citibank card provides better benefits.

Oh I take the NEL every weekend and I'm on circles life. It does get drop at stretches between Potong Pasir to Dhoby gaught for me... But for work wise, I take the Circle Line CCL everyday and the BIG BIG problem is at Buona Vista MRT. I will just stone there every morning when the data gets cut off. But I guess in some sense, that is also good, I will look up and enjoy life a little more rather than scroll my facebook or IG. haha. Previously when I was on Singtel's network, it was definitely way smoother... and thus, I may be looking to switch back to GOMO... using this tool which we created, finding that it was something that suited me better: https://seedly.sg/compare/sim-only-mobile-plans

Comparing cost to data, Gomo seems better deal. The only thing we won't know yet is how's the network coverage and connections speed. Hope it doesn't sucks like TPG (all underground area no data!)

Circlelife is using M1's infrastructure. Walls do block the signal, if his home is situated 'inside' a cluster of other buildings, or his room is not with window. Or sway sway that his spot is at the interference spot. There are actually signals booster inside commercial buildings that's why we are still able to get 4g inside shopping mall or office buildings. Download those apps where u can do speed test/signal strength check. I use Open Signal. It can do speed test, check signal coverage and even which cell tower u are connected to.
