    Circles.Life SIM Only Base Plan

TLDR: I used CirclesLife for about 2 years before switching over to GRID Mobile. The main reason for switching was due to the prices. However, CirclesLife still has much better user experience using the app, although their customer service has dropped significantly since the beginning. Overall 3/5. [Ease of porting] 5/5 Ported over in 2018, and it was super easy - Just fill up the online form and they'll ship you the SIM card and activate it subsequently. Super fuss-free. [Mobile App] 5/5 This is where CirclesLife really shines - Their app is intuitive, fast, and allows you to customise the plan on the go. I switched over from Starhub and the transparency and ease of customisation completely blew my mind. CirclesLife was (I think) the first mobile plan provider to disrupt the local telco scene, and their app was a huge part of their success I think. Having since tried a few other providers since, I would say CirclesLife's app is still the best. [Network] 5/5 I believe CirclesLife leases bandwidth from M1, which has fairly comprehensive coverage. I didn't experience any problems with them, even when I went back for reservice in Sungei Gedong. [Customer Service] 2/5 When I first switched from Starhub, CirclesLife's customer service was incredible. Responses from their CSOs on the app's messaging platform was quick, helpful, and extremely efficient. Compared to Starhub's stupid hotline where they put you on hold for an hour, CirclesLife really blew the competition away. We really have to thank CirclesLife for disrupting the uncompetitive telco market with how they re-conceived mobile service provision. Unfortunately, that was 2 years ago. More recently, their customer service has truly been dismal. Conversations with their CSOs on the app would drop halfway and they would suddenly pair you with a new CSO, and you had to explain your problem all over again. This was incredibly frustrating and on one occasion I was dropped and re-paired a total of 11 times before I gave up. I never got my issue resolved. CirclesLife may have changed the game, but I'm not sure what happened in the past 2 years such that they're now losing it. [Billing] 3/5 CirclesLife frequently offers good deals and bonus data. I was surprised with a free 20GB boost for 3 months in 2019, which they eventually made permanent for free. I was paying $24 dollars/month for 26GB of data, with voice calls and sms and caller ID. However, the new entrants into the market have made it unjustifiable to stick with CirclesLife - especially since these are sim-only plans, and there's no contract to lock you in. Grid mobile, who I'm currently with, offers 40 GB for $24/month, and was the main reason why I switched. Conclusion: 3/5 I was truly turned off by the lousy customer service that dropped tremendously in standard compared to 2 years ago. Coupled with the better value for money in other plans, it was difficult for me not to switch. I recommend CirclesLife if you really want to track your data usage and value customizability in your plan. CirclesLife's app is still hands-down the best in the market that I've seen so far. But in terms of value-for-money, the other options may better suit you.

Totally misleading information and singing up procedures on the website. Went to website and saw 20GB for $18, browse a little more to check what's included and happily click on "Buy Plan" which redirects to a page to fill-up the necessary details and the pages also includes a breakdown of the amount payable monthly,a struck off $28 was replaced by $18 and other discounts was also shown. Right at the bottom, there's a clickable button with the words " choose number", anyone will click on it and start choosing their new mobile number and also to complete the transaction. And there's where I find it most misleading and i dare say it's almost cheating. This 20GB for $18 is only applicable when you port your old number to them. If you choose a new number, the amount payable monthly is $28! Let me ask you circles life, to enjoy the $18 plan, one have to port one's old number over, right? Then what is purpose of having the clickable "choose number" button there for? Isn't this trying to mislead potential customers? Also, define your term "talk-time" and how you calculate it. Is it the duration when one has a tele-conversation after picking up an in-coming call or the duration of conversation when one place an out-going call till the point that one ends the phone call? the100 mins talk time is divided between in-coming and out-going? If it's divided as what I assume, then why are you not allocating some "talk-time" to out-going calls when I pay for the "unlimited in-coming calls" add-on? Isn't this cheating? Starhub is also offering sim only plans at $25/mth though it's only 5GB but weekends are unlimited and they state very clearly of the 100 mins as outgoing calls and in-coming calls are totally free and other features that can match up your plans as well. What's the big deal of signing a 12 or 24 months contract like this? In fact, isn't it more reassuring that every month is a flat rate that one is paying? Moreover, starhub is a full fledged telco with many physical shops around and one can go directly to them if there are any issues, be it technical or billing. Not forgetting the infrastructures they have invested and build throughout Singapore and unlike you, they don't need to ride on other telco's line. Seriously, circles life, you are such a disappointment to me. Lee

I faced the same problem and was wondering why the checkout price was different than the promo rate!

    Circles.Life SIM Only Base Plan

Used to the market leader in the SIM-Only telco phone plans scene. Not as price competitive compared to newer players (GOMO by SingTel, giga! By Starhub, MyRepublic with StarHub) anymore. There are better choices out there trying to earn your customer loyalty, Circles.Life.

Please avoid circles life if you can because they are just lying about what they say. I have enough with them. Many issues encountered ever since I tried to use their service with CIS benefits 1) Porting of my number. It was delayed TWICE until i raised the issue over and over again. I got to pay more because Im ‘using’ two plans for my previous telco plan and circles life. 2) After the success of my number ported over, I do not have my CIS benefits of unlimited outgoing and incoming calls. Contacted them and activated it at my own cost which they told me i do not have to worry about the cost. At the end of the month, I was charged TWO MONTHS of the service in my bill. I have to contact them AGAIN to inform them of their ERROR and finally agreed to give me a cashback. 3) Lastly, this is the tipping point of my patience with you guys, circles. I asked you if there will be a $200 discount off phone via CIS plan if I ordered the SIM card first, you said yes AND I GO AHEAD TO DO SO. And yet, when I asked again after I bought the phone, you told me I have to order THE SIM CARD AND PHONE TOGETHER to be eligible for the discount, isn’t it all too late? The need for me to contact you every now and then really turns me off. Lies everywhere and I’m really disappointed, please, whoever reads this please go to other telco. Thank you for the short lived honeymoon, circles.

Satisfactory service so far, been with Circles.Life for more than 2 years now. Hassle-free simcard delivery + porting out (from M1 previously) + registration + activation, all done online. Bonus data kept coming in although it would’ve been nice if I could get my company’s partnership promotion with C.L (not applicable for existing users). Network is fine, only gone intermittently underground and inside lift in buildings.

Oh I take the NEL every weekend and I'm on circles life. It does get drop at stretches between Potong Pasir to Dhoby gaught for me... But for work wise, I take the Circle Line CCL everyday and the BIG BIG problem is at Buona Vista MRT. I will just stone there every morning when the data gets cut off. But I guess in some sense, that is also good, I will look up and enjoy life a little more rather than scroll my facebook or IG. haha. Previously when I was on Singtel's network, it was definitely way smoother... and thus, I may be looking to switch back to GOMO... using this tool which we created, finding that it was something that suited me better: https://seedly.sg/compare/sim-only-mobile-plans

Comparing cost to data, Gomo seems better deal. The only thing we won't know yet is how's the network coverage and connections speed. Hope it doesn't sucks like TPG (all underground area no data!)

Circlelife is using M1's infrastructure. Walls do block the signal, if his home is situated 'inside' a cluster of other buildings, or his room is not with window. Or sway sway that his spot is at the interference spot. There are actually signals booster inside commercial buildings that's why we are still able to get 4g inside shopping mall or office buildings. Download those apps where u can do speed test/signal strength check. I use Open Signal. It can do speed test, check signal coverage and even which cell tower u are connected to.
