Pricing is not competitive for existing users. Regretted waiting too long to switch to other telcos.

Worst service provider line got cut and they told me that they can’t do anything about it till Monday cuz their other department are not working so I have to wait without service for a whole day amazing isn’t it. Their customer service can be quite frustrating I urge you not to sign up with them..

  • [Ease of porting] I enjoyed using Circles.Life's service very much, and it was relatively easy to port over from Singtel, my previous telco. All in all, the porting took about 3 days. [Billing] Compared to Singtel, Circles.Life's plans were way more affordable, and there were no hidden charges. On average, I hardly pay more than the plan that I signed up for, with the generous amounts of data provided. [Network] With regard to the network, I find that the data connectivity is pretty stable, save for the occasional "turbulence" underground.

[Billing] Echoing the previous review. There is a huge lack of transparency in the way the first bill is handled. The 1st month is pro-rated at $28 month rather than $18 month which I thought I had signed up for. So effectively, you will be paying $28 for the first month and $18 for the next 12 months. I have tried contacting customer service and they were not helpful at all in resolving and clarifying this. Future people who are considering to port over please be aware of this extra charge. Circles Life markets its plan as $18 a month but omits the fact that the 1st month is billed differently from what is being advertised.

[Billing] Do note that for their $18/month deal, the first 1+month (charged in the first bill) is charged at $28/month. Only 2nd bill onwards is at discount. Highly disappointed in the lack of transparency about this, as the offer only mentioned $18/month for first year.

giga!

Traditional telcos still offer lots of discounts for phone (under contract), but to balance this, your monthly fees will be higher compared to Sim only plans. Good for those who wants to keep changing phone every year or so. I'm personally with a traditional telco, M1, but under their Sim only plan. I buy a 1x good phone that can last me for years, but have a cheaper plan so that overall I save money. Moreover M1 sim only plan has 1000 mins, 1000 sms, 30 GB per month, best for all worlds, though connectivity may be abit bad in some parts of the mrt, but overall not a big issue.

No. Honestly it doesn't have any good benefits. In the beginning it still have free monthly data if you pay m1 bill via it. However, the free data add on is only for one year. Since you're going to CL, then this card has no value unless you only wanted to keep a Citibank card but there's other Citibank card provides better benefits.

Oh I take the NEL every weekend and I'm on circles life. It does get drop at stretches between Potong Pasir to Dhoby gaught for me... But for work wise, I take the Circle Line CCL everyday and the BIG BIG problem is at Buona Vista MRT. I will just stone there every morning when the data gets cut off. But I guess in some sense, that is also good, I will look up and enjoy life a little more rather than scroll my facebook or IG. haha. Previously when I was on Singtel's network, it was definitely way smoother... and thus, I may be looking to switch back to GOMO... using this tool which we created, finding that it was something that suited me better: https://seedly.sg/compare/sim-only-mobile-plans

Comparing cost to data, Gomo seems better deal. The only thing we won't know yet is how's the network coverage and connections speed. Hope it doesn't sucks like TPG (all underground area no data!)

Circlelife is using M1's infrastructure. Walls do block the signal, if his home is situated 'inside' a cluster of other buildings, or his room is not with window. Or sway sway that his spot is at the interference spot. There are actually signals booster inside commercial buildings that's why we are still able to get 4g inside shopping mall or office buildings. Download those apps where u can do speed test/signal strength check. I use Open Signal. It can do speed test, check signal coverage and even which cell tower u are connected to.
