OCBC Titanium Rewards Card
The OCBC Titanium Rewards Card is being touted as the most efficient rewards card you’ll need for your local and overseas shopping. For starters, from 1 June 2020, it will earn you 50 OCBC$ (worth 20 miles) for every S$5 spent on eligible online and retail purchases. This equates to an attractive 4 miles per S$1 spent for these categories.
This 50 OCBC$ is broken down into two parts:
- Base OCBC$: 5 OCBC$ will be awarded for every S$5 spend on all retail spend

Applied for this card previously as there was a 2 cards sign-up promotion. I clock most of my purchase on this card and recently just redeemed a $20 NTUC voucher using 7500 points (if i recall correctly). Not looking to use it for accumulating mileage so will just just be doing redemption for cash/vouchers on the OCBC rewards catalogue.0

A useful card for highly specialized spends to earn 4mpd. Good for large transactions since the cap on bonus OCBC$ is an annual cap. Might want to check on MCCs online before proceeding with high-value transactions to avoid disappointment. Can also own both blue and pink versions if required.0

DO NOT use ocbc credit cards! They move forward your statement due date and are super inflexible with waivers (even if only 1 day late AND before the original due date!) I got charged $100 late fee only a $100 bill! This is how they earn money, not through providing proper services!0

Good but not so good card. Earn 4MPD for department store, bag store shoes store, mostly good for shopping. But once use at the wrong place, you can only earn 0.4MPD which is pathetic. There is card better than this and serve the same purpose, eg, DBS WWC / Citi reward. [Fee Waivers] So far 2nd year waiver no issue, probably because spend more than $10k per year. This year will try again since less spending on this card.0

[Promotions and Perks] To redeem even a cheap perks, need to accumulate a huge amount of points. Point system is absolute rubbish. Not attractive too, can forget about this. [Fee Waivers] Was charged an annual service fee. Called in and request for a fee wavier. The customer service said I didn't use this card for some time, and the spending is close to zero. And was below their minimum spending limit thus unable to waive off the service fee. Finally I got to their higher superior and manage to waive off the fee after a lot of persuasion. Took me quite a big amount of time and effort. [Others] If you are a big user on credit cards, please go ahead and apply this. If not, please AVOID THIS.0

Overview: TR card awards you 10X for shopping spend – local, overseas, online and offline. Pros: Most shopping merchants are covered under the eligible MCC codes. No monthly cap, cap is on a yearly basis. To further increase the cap, one can apply for both the pink and blue card to get double the cap. Complimentary use of JetQuay Quayside for quick showers before/after a flight. The card also provides e-commerce protection for online purchases that were not delivered – which many people are not aware of. Cons: It is tough to determine which merchant has which MCC code for it to be eligible for the 10X reward, have to ask the merchant which MCC code does it have. Only 10X reward on shopping category and occasionally a bonus on other categories, though not frequent. Redemption partners quite limited. Overall: is a good card to earn 4 miles per dollar and accelerate your way to redeeming flights0

Sign Up: Applied for this online, smooth sign up process. Fast approval for foreigners and mailed the card within 2 weeks Activation: Via SMS Fees: First 2 years fee waiver, $192.60/year moving forward - Not aware of any rewards for paying the fee. Fee waiver can be requested via the IVR/online Purpose: Rewards card meant for shopping, similar to Citi Rewards/HSBC Revolution/Amex Capitacard etc promising 10x rewards/dollar spend on eligible shopping categories. Rewards do not expire. Transfer: No fees for transferring to Krisflyer. Min Blocks for transfer = 25000 points which equate to 10,000 krisflyer miles Key points to note: 1. OCBC does not provide a rewards statement so it's hard to understand when 10x has been granted or not. I had to call customer service a few time and request them to manually credit the additional 9x for individial transactions which are time consuming. 2. While OCBC claims the rewards are for all online/offline shopping, this is not strictly true. Instead it only covers eligible transactions corresponding to certain MCC codes which are in their Terms and Conditions and not available readily otherwise. I have had a major purchase of 800 dollars for a mattress online declined because it did not correspond to an eligible MCC. hence I have resorted to calling OCBC before every major purchase to confirm if a transaction qualifies as MCC codes are not readily available otherwise. Promotions: Occasionally OCBC will run promotions on 10x rewards on other categories such as dining etc although I have missed these out. Customer Service: I have generally had positive experiences with OCBC customer service and found agents t o be helpful. However, recently there seems to be constant high volumes when calling in. Would love a chat option but not currently available.0

- For foreigners: Minimum annual income of $45,000

- Annual Supplementary Card fee: $96.30 (First 2 years waived)
- Interest-Free Period: 23 days
- Annual Interest Rate: 26.88%
- Minimum monthly payment: 3% or $50, whichever is higher
- Late payment charge: $100
- Cash advance fee: 6% or $15, whichever is higher
- Administration Fee: S$150 to accelerate payment of automatic instalments

Terms and Conditions of OCBC Titanium Rewards Card
- MCC is assigned by the payment card organisations (eg. Visa, AMEX), not OCBC Bank
- A merchant might have more than one MCC for eg. a merchant registered as an electronic store and financial institution
- OCBC$ will not be awarded for these transactions: Utility payment, Wire Transfer Money Order (WTMOs), Direct marketing insurance services, spending for schools, insurance, tax payments, fine review, bail and bond payments etc.
- Maximum OCBC$ earned from spending in eligible MCC is 120,000 OCBC$/annum
- All transactions made thereafter will only earn 01 x OCBC$ per S$1 spend
