I see that many people are reviewing the account itself rather than the card, which should really be the main focus of the review. While this is listed as a multi-currency card, it is really of debit card functionality, the only multi currency aspect is advertised no FX fees on overseas transactions. I found the rates to be slightly worse than actual interbank rate, but still better than the mark up by services like Revolut on weekends, and Transferwise. And it is more hassle-free than youtrip, since you can withdraw anytime to your bank account. Highly recommended for what it is, not the most competitive but easy to use and hassle free0

For me, the application process took quite awhile (perhaps this might be due to the fact that I applied in the early stage of the introduction of Singlife). Would recommend users to get this card / bank account more as a place to put your savings rather than a place for daily usage!0

This account is great with 2.5% interest earned and the card allows me to use for overseas Online spending without any additional charges! It is based on the Visa’s exchange rate and the notification on the amount deducted is shown immediately. Great if you like to buy stuff from Taobao!0

[Features] Other than the non guaranteed 2.5% p.a. interest rates (will be revised to 2% from 1 November 2020) with the SingLife account, this card has no annual fees and FX fees. Recommended for people who frequently shops online.0

Customer service attends to you within an hour and settles your confusion professionally Easy and fast to apply. Withdrawal/Top-up takes about 5 minutes for you to see the transfer of funds so don't panic. Interest comes in monthly and gives your short term peace of mind.0

[UI] The app looks really sleek! And the card as well looks pretty interesting with a vertical design instead of the standard horizontal ones. I have activated my SingLife VISA card but have not yet spent on it yet. [Features] I heard the Multicurrency features are pretty useful when travelling overseas and will be looking to try that on my next trip (whenever that may be post-covid)0

[Customer Support] Customer support services answer doubt and questions promptly through their WhatsApp. There are some bug in activating the card and require you to try multiple time before it works. [Features] No Fx fee!0

How to apply for the Singlife card?
First, sign up for a Singlife Account, an insurance savings plan, with the following steps:
· Download the Singlife App on your mobile phone.
· Set-up a Singlife ID & apply for your Singlife Account
· Start with just S$100 (transfer via FAST or PayNow from your own bank account)
· Only one Singlife Account per person
After your Singlife Account policy is in force:
· Tap on ‘Order Card’ in your Singlife Account dashboard
· Confirm your delivery address
· Confirm the display name on your Singlife card
· Proceed with your order, and your Singlife card will be on its way!
