Been struggling to find a card in Singapore that provides good fx rates, and finally found one. Revolut allows you to make overseas transactions at fairly close to spot (~1% spread), compared to other bank credit cards which charge around 3%. Highly recommend this to frequent travellers

I am currently a member with Metal Plan. I love the easy of usage of the App, especially when I travel. I've been using Revolut for every single trip I'm doing and it never failed me once. Their rates are super competitive and I love the fact that I can get 1% cash back for every transaction spent overseas. Keep up the good work! And please bring account numbers to Singapore!

It is a great card - very functional and easy to use. The email correspondence supplies constant updates

App and card is easy to use, but it always shows me errors for account recovery even though my card is not blocked

The app is easy to use and coupled with many useful features such as funds transfer to friends and bill splitting. It is a tad annoying that when viewing a particular transaction in the expanded dashboard, going back scrolls back all the way to the top. Auto-exchange is also abit buggy as even though the rate had been obviously met, the auto exchange did not happen. Solving these issues would make the app perfect. Definitely better than youtrip as of now!

Multi Currency Cards

Revolut

YouTrip

Both cards have their pros and cons and you may consider bringing both. (I did so recently so that I can share my experience about it in my blog.) If you are looking at YouTrip, here is all the information to help you get started: https://www.blog.pzl.sg/what-is-youtrip-singapore/ From my testing, YouTrip gives a slightly better rate but the difference is insignificant. On the other hand, Revolut allows you to withdraw $350 overseas without any charges from the card. (YouTrip charges $5 per withdrawal.). Hence, it is good for this purpose. With this in mind, you may work along the line on how you intend to spend the money while you travel. This will help you to make a more informed decision. In case you intend to sign up for YouTrip, there is a promo code that you can use in my post. Let me know if you want a referral code for Revolut too. Enjoy your trip! Here is everything about me and what I do best.

Cashback

If i am not wrong, revolut transactions are still classified as a online transaction spending, hence it makes sense to use either cashback or miles cards which allow online transaction spending to classify as a proper online transaction to earn rewards. For me i use my OCBC365 card since i cant use my AMEX to top up my revolut account. It helps me hit my min spend to achieve my f&b cashback which is decent

I use both as well. for revolut it is good as you can withdraw cash at ATMs in your travelling destination while youtrip requires a 5 dollar fee. both uses apple pay to top up and just need your fingerprint which is very easy. however if there are any issues, then youtrip has faster customer service compared to revolut. my suggestion is to just get 2 cards.

For most of them, the maximum balance you can hold in your wallet is S$5,000 and the maximum amount you can spend from the card is S$30,000 annually. No local ATM withdrawals too.

Nope. KRW is not supported for pre exchange to lock in the rates. However, it can still be used for transactions in Korea which would be automatically converted for you.
