[Promotions and Perks] I use this as a supplementary card, my mum has had this card for ages now. My main intention is really to clock the NTUC points whenever grocery shopping and also as a backup credit card. Works well and have redeemed LinkPoints from it which is great!

One of my favorite card for use as the rebates, discounts, cashback, promotions and deals are the best. Yearly dividends will offset our annual fee if we always use it. Will recommend this card to friends or relatives.

Still my number 1 preferred card till now as of 2020. Take a look of the benefits below. Upcoming offer. $1 value breakfast meal (consisting of 1 cup of coffee or tea, 2 slices of toasted kaya butter bread and 2 soft boiled eggs) before 11am from 3rd July to 31st August 2020. Annual fee wavier. Earn LinkPoints as you charge all payments (including bills) to the card. Redeem the LinkPoints for NTUC Vouchers which have 2 years' expiry. Get value meals at member's rate by showing your card at NTUC FoodFare eg. S$1.80 for breakfast.

It beats having to carry a separate card to clock link points. If you are more likely to do self check out most times, this card will be great for you.

[Fee Waivers] OCBC is unfortunately more strict with the fee waivers... [Useful For...] super Good cash back if you often patronage Fairprice....I can say no card gives better cash back / rebate (in dollar sense) than this card for purchase at Fairprice.

The Best Cash Back Credit Cards Review 2020: How does OCBC NTUC Plus! Visa Compare?

      Pros

      • Excellent for patrons of NTUC Fairprice, offering at least 7.00% rebates on groceries, and can go as high as 12.00% if you meet the other criteria
      • Pretty decent petrol cashback rates as well
      • Suitable for everyday essentials as it covers the bases of groceries, petrol, stationery and pharmacy needs.

      Cons

      • Pre-requisite of being an NTUC Union member to be eligible for the NTUC Plus! Visa Credit Card
      • The tiered 12% rebate is not achievable for everyone as it requires additional salary crediting and the requirement of the cardmember to be a FairPrice shareholder.
      • Apart from the groceries and patrol category, other areas of spending do not have competitive cashback rates.
      • Not suitable for other non-essential genres of spending
      • Overall, if you are neither going to credit your salary into the Plus! Savings account nor have a stake in FairPrice, you might just be better off getting other cashback cards for groceries, like the OCBC Plus! Credit Card, instead of this OCBC NTUC Plus! Card. Also, if you are not regular patrons of NTUC FairPrice, then it would be better for you to consider other cashback cards for Groceries.
