[Fee Waivers] HORRIBLE FEE WAIVER PROCEDURE!!! First, you can ONLY make a fee waiver request through an automated call. Next, they say they will get back in a few days, but it's been almost 2 weeks AND NOT RESPONSE FROM THEM, they have TERRIBLE customer service. And yknow i get calls from citibank EVERYDAY for some stupid card promotion. If you can't even serve your existing customers well what makes you think that I will sign up for more? [Hidden Terms] Really upset, so at the start of the year, I had to make a big purchase of 10k and they promised 30k miles bonus for that. So I got the card, and cause it’s my first time doing this, I didn’t know that you’re supposed to select “pay annual fee” right at the point of application in order to enrol in this offer. Since they put up posters all around advertising this and there was no disclaimer about what to watch out for?? In the end, I made the purchases, was waiting for them to ask me to pay annual fees and it never came. So a few months later I called up Citibank to ask about this issue. [Customer Service] Now the fact is, I DID purposely used this card to make the 10k purchases in the first 3 months. And I conveyed this to the customer service, and the first guy said ok he’ll let the product manager know. And that they will call me back in 3 days. They only called me back in a week, and then we went through THE SAME CONVO. And they said they’ll call me back in 3 days, AGAIN. But until now there’s no sound from them. Totally not accountable. (Update) HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. They finally got back to me after ONE MONTH and then they lectured me "This is why you need to read the TnC when signing up for credit cards". Seriously???? This is how you talk to your customers? I am never using this card again. [Promotions and Perks] Honestly.. promos not great, just basic 1.2mpd. I think I’m gonna cut this card. Ok I Guess good part is some dining places has offer with Citibank but I’m sure there’s a better card out there and Even AMEX has better deals and offers.

I was charged a $100 late fee for being 2 days late on a $16 payment. I called 3 times and each time was told that my waiver request was under review. Each time, nobody responded for more than a week and I had to call for an update. On the third attempt I told them I wanted to cancel my card after being denied the waiver. I am still waiting for someone to call me to process the cancellation... it has now been another week. Worst experience I have ever had with any credit card company. Will likely also close my Citi banking account and switch to HSBC or something.

This was my first ever credit card in Singapore so I'm kinda attached to it. My main regular spending each month aside from rent is for insurance premiums, and Citi PM card grants miles for that. I understand not many other cards do that. Granted, 1.2 mpd isn't much but these miles do not expire as long as they haven't been converted to a specific airline program yet. Foreign spend gets you 2mpd, plus you get 10k bonus miles when you pay the annual fee. In addition, you get free travel insurance if you charge your flight to the card and 2 free lounge access per calendar year via Priority Pass. It's a very dependable and useful general use card that has served me well over the past 8 years. It's still my main card and I don't foresee that changing anytime soon. [Update] Insurance premiums no longer award points so I've pretty much stopped using it now. Also, given COVID, the lounge access and miles don't really serve much of a purpose now. However, I think I will still keep it active as long as they don't strong-arm me into paying annual fees. In addition, I experienced unauthorized charges to my card which I reported via the 24hr call center asap. They were very quick to reverse the charges and issued me a new card. All in all, good response.

[Miles Card] It is a wasted card that I have currently and I have shifted my spending more to daily spending cards and shopping cards. I find the points earned will not be worth the vouchers exchange I can obtain as compared to other credit cards.
