      WhizComms Mesh Wi-Fi Solution Plan - 24 months

      The network was disconnected/connected for two consecutive days, I contacted customer service to check it, but after waiting for three days technician to check and cannot solve issues and said it was not their problem is Singtel line problem,then we check will Singtel, they said is whizcomms issue. The company can't solve the problems will push to other company, this is whizcomms service.

      There were issues with high ping to sites like twitter and some online games, contacted customer service on the website they are basically useless with no technical knowledge and got to contact their technical support by email. It becomes very troublesome when there are network issues and they would need to contact singtel to resolve it which also takes time. As of now issue is still not resolved since last contacted technical support on Feb this year and will not re-new the contract which is ending soon Previously was on their 1gbps plan.

      WhizComms Wireless Router Plan - 24 months

      I informed their team weeks ago that I would be changing the address of my service. Their technician came down to connect the internet on 20th December. 2 days later, I still have no internet and had to rely on my mobile data to do my work from home. Contacted their customer service several times and always get the same templated answer that it is a backend issue and they are trying to resolve it as fast as they can. It is already 2022, what kind of backend issues take 2 days to resolve when the previous owner had no issues with their internet?

      WhizComms 300Mbps - 24 months

      I'm leaving a review in my 24th month of service. Since I'm the only one at home and only using the internet for work and regular surfing/streaming, I opted for the cheaper 500mbps plan. 4rm HDB, on TPLink Deco mesh. Pros: - Consistent speed quality. I did not encounter any discernable drop in speed or bottlenecks based on my speed tests using the main mesh node over the period. - Cost. Lowest cost available on the market, albeit it's only 500mbps. Still manages to meet all of my needs. - Setup was scheduled easily and the guy was professional in ensuring that my network was up and running and at the speed promised. Cons: - Commitment period. The 24mth period is pretty long to be tied for the price. If for any reason u decide to break the contract, you're still bound to the remaining months applicable. Price is bumped up to $32 after the contract period. All in all, no complains. Would still recommend it to people who aren't that picky about having the highest speed possible or households with less users.

      Had my installation date on 21 Nov and attended by Zhi Qiang. Kudos to Zhi Qiang in taking the effort to ensure that I am getting the expected speed and even explain to me the different "tech" term when I sound like a noob. Despite being the cheapest ISP in the market, the service provided by ZhiQiang is top notch. Keep up the good work =)

      WhizComms 300Mbps - 24 months

      Signed up during one of their promo and so far, been a happy user. Simple plug and play when it comes to installation. Didn't need to reset my router. Customer service even helped me over the phone when I overlooked on a promo aspect. Affordable and fuss free plan enough for a household of 5. With inflation increasing, it was a good move to secure the next 2 years. So far no issue and hoping it stays that way. 🤙🏽

      WhizComms 1Gbps No Frills Plan - 24 months

      It was very simple to sign up, pay, and arrange for installation. But after that, the nightmare began. [Ease of set up] The modem that Whizcomms provided was a non-wireless ONR that doesn’t pass through the WAN IP to your own wireless router, so there’s no way of doing any type of port forwarding or router customisation. [Customer Service] The live chat customer support, and their official email are basically useless; everything that you need help with, they will tell you: “please bring the ONR down to our office at your own cost for configuration. Operating hours are 11am-5pm Mon-Fri.”. That shows their terrible lack of consideration for any customers who work 9-5. Despite the fact that they have this ONR, they can’t do any type of remote configuration. Not recommended at all if you do anything that needs router customisation. Imagine making a trip down every time you need to open one port for one app.

      Hi there, thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We understand that you faced some difficulties with regards to port forwarding and router customisation.

      You are correct that our Optical Network Router (ONR), similar to other Telco modems, are non-wireless in nature. A separate wireless router is required to have wireless connection capabilities.

      We have received similar requests from some customers before where they require port forwarding or have special router settings. In such cases, they will usually know their requirements and inform us beforehand so that we can make the necessary configurations before the installation. However, the majority of the public do not require this so this is considered a special arrangement.

      You are also correct that if you require ONR configuration after the initial installation has been completed, we will require you to visit our office to do so.

      We understand that this has caused some inconvenience to you. We will look into our operations again to see if we can cater to such special requests better in the future :).
