Starhub fibre broadband offers 4 types of plans - 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps, regular 2 Gbps, and a Turbo Gamer 2 Gbps plan. All of which are 24-months contract except for the 1 Gbps where plan that has a choice of both 24-month or 12-month. Starhub Fibre Broadband's plans are affordable, with the 1 Gbps plan at $39.90 per month for 24 months.     Please don't sign up StartHub Bundle Package (StarHub TV, Home Broadband, Digital Voice). Terrible uploading tv channel and slow network connection on the internet. I have called the customer service and I was told the IP addresses was corrupted so its causes the uploading speed very slow. The technical support has to reset it on their end. After I have waited for 5-10 min, the speed run pretty smoothly but only last for awhile and it back to the slow upload speed that it got worsen. We work from home and it was frustrating because it effect our work productivity. Ping : 7 ms Download : 167.25 Mbps Upload : 47.26 Mbps

    [Customer Service] Slow and unresponsive customer service when needed, which is majority of the time. Even when I managed to get hold, the customer support team can't seemed to solve any issues. [Ease of set up] Decent enough. They do the setting up and all's good to use. [Connectivity and Speed] Poor connection and slow speed 9/10 times. Even when I am sitting right next to my router or modem, it doesn't help. Constant re-connecting needed, which causes so much inconvenience. [Perks] The only reason that I am still staying as loyal customer is due to certain of their Hub Club privileges. Yes, I am a true blue cheapskate. :)

    I live in the northeast. The network is usually decent. It used to disconnect at 11 pm every night for me but I don't think it's happening anymore. When people started working from home, the network was slow and really got on my nerves. Now, it isn't that bad. On the other hand, there will be random but rare afternoons where the network feels sluggish. Sometimes, changing band (from 5GHz to 2.4Ghz) helps.

    [Customer Service] Seriously I don't know what's wrong with Starhub's servicing team. This is my first time applying Starhub broadband service and the experience was super horrible. I applied it online. Day 1: Technician came to my home and he said my fiber point is on top of ceiling, so he couldn't do anything. Then he just left like that. Customer service called me to explain to me on the situation where I need change the fiber point location. I said I am ok and what I need to do. He said that I need Letter of Authorization (LOA) from owner since I am renting the unit and he also explained the charges. I forgot to ask him how I pass the LOA, so I called back 1633. I reached customer service, I needed to explain everything again to ask for email. The person gave me Email Address A. He told me once I send in LOA, call in again for appointment. Afterwards I was able to get LOA and sent to Email Address A. I called in customer service again, explained everything again and told CS to make appointment. CS told me they will call back me once they find it. I called in again at around 8pm, redo similar stuff to follow up. CS told me need 35 hours to 48 hours to find out email. I was like "what??". Then I requested to make appointment as early as possible, CS noted down on end of week to do it. However, CS suddenly told me that I never activate NLT, cannot relocate fiber point like that. I was like "what?? again??". I told the CS I just signed up the package which should include free NLT activation. CS said will need to check with Sales team, need max 48 hours to get answer. At this point I was super frustrated already. Day 2: I called in again to follow up. This time CS told me different thing. I only need to move my fiber point first and require LOA. Then I told the CS I already sent LOA yesterday to Email Address A. He told me I should send to Email Address B. I was super angry that time, feeling like they are playing me. I immediately sent another one to Email Address B and told him to check immediately. He said need 35 hours to 48 hours to find out the email. I am seriously fed up. Day 3: I called in again to follow up. CS told me there is already a note from previous CS to follow up on this case. CS couldn't promise when can proceed to next step. I don't know I should continue with this company or not.
