Whizcomms has one of the cheapest broadband plans in Singapore and usually scores a good ranking on SeedlyReviews. Whizcomms provides affordable fibre broadband plans starting from $24 per month for 1 Gbps for a no-frills plan. Whizcomms' plans are simple and easy to understand - with 2 speed types - 300 Mbps and 1 Gbps. From these 2, consumers have the choice of a broadband plan either without a device, with a router, or a Wi-FI Mesh.

      WhizComms Wireless Router Plan - 24 months

      Poor Level of Service and Communications I decided to swap providers from Starhub to Whiz Comm because of the promotion for the change of providers. I was reminded by Whiz Comm to not terminate my Starhub service. However, upon the activation of Whiz Comm on the 10th of December, there was no reminder to terminate my Starhub account. I wrongly assumed that similar to a change of mobile providers, that the termination of the old provider would be done by Whiz Comm since one of the questions asked during the sign up of the promotion was to indicate my current broadband provider. It was only in February that I realized that I was still being billed by Starhub that I proceeded to terminate my Starhub account. As a result, I was paying for both Starhub and Whiz Comm till February. If Whiz Comm is not going to assist in the termination of the previous provider, they should send a reminder to the customer to terminate it on their own. This reminder can be done by having their technical person do so during the day of installation, dropping an email or send a sms reminder when the service is activated. All this will be greatly appreciated if the customer somehow misses the fine print of needing to terminate their previous provider on their own. May this message help Whiz Comm serve their customers better and prevent others from making a similar mistake as I.

      WhizComms 300Mbps - 24 months

      2 years in with Whizcomms on the 300mbps plan. Was told the speed would go up to 500mbps but they did not inform me the 500mbps speed is only possible with LAN cable. So that's a little disappointing. Internet connection and stability is acceptable, had less than 5 occasions of disruption throughout the 24 months. Sometimes it just takes with a simple reset but there was once I had to reach out to the CS for a thorough troubleshooting. Recently I also requested to temporary suspend my contract as I will be away from Singapore for a long time. However, this option was not possible. Will be great if whizcomms could offer such thing to end user.
