    • Disrespectful customer service. They constantly blame the customer's devices. They're throttling on the internet. It is difficult for the customer to prove this. TIO supports Myrepublic to the fullest, not customers.

      MyRepublic Ultra 1 Gbps Broadband with TP-Link EC330 router

      I signed up the 1gbps plan online with them as a new telco. Bad CRM, misleading advertisement. They first said that my Termination Point is taken, and I had to terminate and release the port with current telco (which will take time with no internet connection for a period of time), or pay them $160 for new TP installation, on top of activation fees and OTC, which cost more than $100 (such fees are waived for other telcos). In the advertisement page, they clearly said that ‘installation of TP is free for new customers’ without fineprint. If I want to cancel my sign-up with them, I have to pay them too. What a way to gain new customers. This is such an awful company and bad experience. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.

      MyRepublic Ultra 1 Gbps Broadband with TP-Link EC330 router

      [Connectivity and Speed] Very poor internet connection. Paid extra for them to install LAN cable, which helped a little. However, their wifi is still unstable. Tech support will ask you to switch off router. And rename network on deco app - which you will have to reconnect all your devices to wifi again. Causing much inconvenience as we are living in a smart home now (have to reconnect everything from Google Home to appliances and light). Conclusion, they will blame 3rd party router and deco (using TP-link under their package) and not admit it is their connection problem. [Customer Service] Previously, customer service staff promised a 1-1 ON-SITE exchange for my deco over the phone. Went one big round to contact the deco supplier directly and being told there is no such service. From this experience, I have indicated for customer service to correspond via email. I am still waiting for a response to my tickets and for my on-site replacement. PS, please do not spam my phone with non-stop calls during office hours, especially when I have cut the line as it is not convenient to speak. Do check out their Google reviews for the true situation of frustrated customers.

      I have a similar issue with them. My internet was the normal fibre and was doing a decent job. After I 'upgraded' to gamepro and their so called 'dedicated' servers, the horror story begins. My wifi is so unstable and lag that I used 4g on my phone. No site inspection and nothing, excuse by customer service was that alot of people in my block using Myrepublic. Guess they are telling me to switch to less popular telco asap.
