[Connectivity and Speed] I’m using the gamer plan but it seems not able to get connected inside my kitchen area (by the way I’m staying in a 4 room HDB flat of 97 square meter) which is not that big and lagging whenever my son play the PlayStation… I’ve tried turning off and the router and modem but it seems not helping..fyi0

[Connectivity and Speed] [Ease of set up] [Customer Service] I've just got my broadband installed yesterday and I must say that overall experience has been excellent so far. I've been faced with latency issues before this with other telco, but the performance of Myrepublic broadband has been superb so far (will continue to monitor). The installer by the name of Zulhilmi was prompt and also efficient in carrying out the installation. He has taken the extra steps by calling in to do the preparation work (installing apps on our device and creating an account) prior to the installation to ensure that it's a seamless process.0

At May 2024 there are some connection issues during at nighttime, they always give email to notice the customer if there network upgrading or maintenance is going on.0

MyRepublic No Frills 1Gbps Broadband
I've been a happy MyRepublic customer for about 2 years (No Frills 1Gbps 24 months contract + 5G Plus Plan for phone) ! This is the best telco for customers who are tech-savvy gaming speed freaks. [Connectivity and Speed] I remember being very pleased as a new customer of MyRepublic because right when I do an Ookla Speedtest on my No Frills 1Gbps Broadband as a new customer back then, I was pleased to get >900Mbps download with <5ms ping on my Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (2023) over an 2.5Gbps LAN port, a CAT 7 cable to my Asus GT-AC5300 router that connected to MyRepublic's NOKIA ONT. Even with other telcos back then the same setup got me just 600Mbps even with the best setup. Now even with mesh setup of GT-AC5300 -> ROG GT6 Rapture -> laptop the speed still doesn't take any dents. [Others] It appears MyRepublic is that good buddy who is also a fan of ASUS ROG stuffs or Asus routers, and their network infra appears to work very well with my network setup despite me transitioning from another telco with the same custom router setup (which is also predominantly ASUS products). Any customers who know how terrible default telco routers are generally will invest in either self-bought meshes/routers or choose a more branded router from telco. MyRepublic also don't just settle on any obscure router brand, but on those with CSA's cybersecurity ratings! [Customer Service] Chat and phone services are typically decently responsive with quick ability to resolve problems. App is easy to use to manage bills and check quotas. Has the ability to manage roaming despite overseas. [Perks] I get a total of 100GB additional for free this year for my no-contract 5G Plus phone plan (hence a total of 200GB). MyRepublic is very generous about the quota that I can freely use it as a hotspot and this is great for anyone who are too paranoid to use unencrypted cafe Wifi hotspots which we know are less secure.
