Every night, my internet connection would disconnect, so I reached out to customer support. They suggested I try a different power outlet and update my router and restart, which seemed to solve the problem for several days without me having to do anything else. However, the issue returned and my connection randomly drops for hours at a time before eventually coming back daily. This inconsistency is frustrating, and I have decided to cancel my contract once it ends.1

Been using it for almost 10 years. Recently their internet very lagging and not stable. So frustrated with their standard now that I decided to change to Singtel. MyRepublic standard is no longer the same. At least to me. So they just lost a loyal customer. 2 thumbs down. Bye Bye MyRepublic. Time to change your management maybe.1

MyRepublic TP-Link EC330 1Gbps Broadband
[Others] This company requires additional condition for people who stay in HDB rented unit. I recently wanted to sign up and switch over from M1 for my father's rented HDB. I was ask to pay a $250 deposit for they proceed with my application. I did not get this when i sign up with M1. I pay $ for a service and i have to be treated differently. I will continue with M1 then at least they didn't look down on us.1

lost connection every single night. raised it with customer support and was advised to switch to another power point. then everything went fine even without me doing anything for the next months. suddenly the same problem came back all over again since last month. the connection is simply crazy. it just lost signal at any random hours and lasted for as long as few hours. then became normal for some time before repeating. sick and enough of this nonsense. going to terminate once my contract ends.1

Emailed them to have them contact me back but no replies. Had tried the "live" chat and it was anything but. 30 mins and the responder, a certain 'Carl' could only type "Yes". Couldn't even reply if he was still there or not or if he was actually helping to sort my request. Connectivity was not stellar either. Terrible. Will not recommend myrepublic at all.2

Been with MyRepublic for a few years.... and recently had to do move my service from one location to another. No hidden charges... everything is told upfront and decently priced so it's fine. They got someone to come and set up for us when we moved so it's really easy. Connectivity and speed is fine as well. Very occasional drop but nothing too frustrating.1

MyRepublic No Frills 2Gbps Broadband
The modem MyRepublic provided suddenly went busted. The installation was only last month. We called customer support and can only get an appointment to change the modem on Tuesday 2pm because there is no weekend technicians. This is extremely unacceptable. How can MyRepublic be an internet service provider when support is not given in such emergencies? With mine being a smart home and I am occasionally working from home, the instability of their service has highly inconvenienced me and my family and I am deeply disappointed in choosing MyRepublic over the others like Starhub and Singtel. At least their devices don’t suddenly go bust. Though the customer support has offered to adjust my broadband bill, but how is my inconvenience going to be compensated?1

Charges customers for late rescheduling, but expects customers to comply when they initiate the late rescheduling themselves. Zero service recovery. On 31 Dec, MyRepublic confirmed my broadband installation appointment for 9 Jan (Mon). However, I subsequently received a SMS/email on 6 Jan (Fri) at 1030pm that it has been cancelled, with a request for me to select an alternative time slot. This is less than one working day advance notice. When I contacted customer service on Monday (their CS doesn’t operate over the weekend) to hold an alternative time slot while I tried to confirm arrangements for someone to be home for the installation, MyRepublic informed me that I would be charged a rescheduling fee if it turns out I can’t make the alternative time slot. Ironic, and extremely inflexible given that MyRepublic initiated the last minute cancellation of the originally confirmed appointment. Throughout this entire experience, there was no acknowledgment from MyRepublic of any sort that were apologetic for the last minute cancellation, nor any flexibility from them to assist me with appointment rescheduling. I decided to go with another Internet Service Provider. 3 weeks later, I received an email from MyRepublic and saw that I was still charged a $48.15 termination fee. Honestly have no clue how they are rated so highly on Seedly - their Google reviews (very low) seem much more reflective of the service standards of this company. They also seem to be the only ISP (?) that requires a deposit from its customers (it was $100 for me).1
