      Have been a long-time buyer of Traveljoy for more than a decade. Premiums are a bit on the higher side, but overall the claims process and customer service experience have been quite good.

      Terrible company. You will regret it. Just avoid. Despite buying a rather expensive annual plan, I can't claim for many cancellation due to covid. The customer service is really lousy. No one picks up the telephone and when you email them, they don;t reply for more than 2 weeks! By that time, it's too late and I had to make a decision on change to travel plan. Worst company I have experienced so far.

      For the past 5 years, we have been purchasing Sompo travel insurance everytime we travel (about 2x a year on average). Plans are comprehensive, claims are easy, customer service is also prompt and efficient. Nothing to fuss about for now unless a stronger contender comes in!

      Am extremely disappointed with my experience with Sompo. The Insurance agent took a shocking 5 months to get back on a claim I’ve filed, while remaining uncontactable during the period in between. I was finally informed that the claim was unsuccessful, and I wanted to seek clarification on the case. Again, she was uncontactable via both email and phone. Called the customer service helpline to seek advice, was told that they’ll remind her to review my case and contact me. It’s been a year and I have still yet to hear from Sompo despite many attempts getting someone to look into my case. [Claims Process] [Customer Service]
