    Chubb Economy Plan

I had managed to claim for a delayed baggage. I’m thankful that I had bought the Chubb travel insurance economy plan for my trip to West Japan in Nov 2019. [Claims Process] Fairly easy and intuitive but I had to add more documents to support my claim as the online claim template had some technical issues. The whole process took sometime maybe because my case is slightly unique. I received the reimbursement after about 1 month. [Purchase Process] Bought it thru DBS so it was really easy. [Customer Service] Officers are friendly and helpful on the few occasions I called. Also ensured that my claim is being followed upon by one of the agents. It’s my first experience claiming for a delayed baggage and it was definitely a pleasant one. Will continue to purchase from Chubb in future. Thanks!

    Chubb First Plan

[Claims Process] [Purchase Process] Purchases it from DBS digibank in the morning before my flight, and process is very easy. One of my baggage was lost on my trip back from Malaysia (Malaysia Airlines) back in mid 2019. Filed claim for baggage delayed with a report that i got from CAS and got $200 from Chubb within 48 hours. Not bad.

    Chubb First Plan

[Purchase Process] [Customer Service] Both was excellent and fuss free. [Claims Process] Unsure about this for I’m counting my blessings to be relatively safe with my travelling escapades till date. But based on reviews, claims was expedient.

  • [Purchase Process] Very simple, bought via DBS, used once. [Claims Process] Must be completed at one seating (for security sake I guess), which might be an issue if the server freezes or internet connection isn't good. My husband tried twice and got really frustrated, he found it cumbersome. I tried and it was quite a breeze. I claimed for flight delay. Duration to process the claims, as I recall, was a little shorter than MSIG. There were multiple options given for reimbursement method, we chose cheque because cheque comes in the mail so we will be alerted that the claim has been successful. I recall it took ~2weeks from claim submission to receiving the cheque.
