[Customer Services] Bills are sent separate from SP Group's, unlike other OEMs which have integrated billing. There's also no online access to bills even though there's a login portal for customers. There was a month when the bill wasn't sent to my email and I had to email the customer service to ask for it. I'll be switching to another provider with a better service. Thanks to Seedly's reviews, I managed to find a higher-rated provider with a discount code to boot!

I like that they are into solar energy but there are some issues with them. I have the same confusing experience on their billing cycles. Some months no charge, some months very high charge. The biggest issue I have with them is that after the 12-month contract expires, they automatically put you on another 12-month contract. When I had to move house recently, I had to pay a penalty of $30 per month left of the 12-month contract even though I had already fulfilled my first 12-month contract with them. This effectly wiped out all my savings and more. I mean you can't time it so nicely that you move out just as the contract expires right. Sure they allow to waive the penalty if you sign up with them again within a month but I'll stay away to avoid this uncessary penalty.

Everyone around me said they had a heart attack when they receive their electricity bills after Circuit Breaker. The electricity bill continue to soar as we do not return to office on a 100% basis. Interestingly, my electricity did not vary too much. It must be due to the plan that I have chosen! I received 23% off tariffs rate every month. A supposedly 6 months trial with them has turned me to their loyal customer instead. I have not tried the rest of the retailers so far!

Please do not waste your time with them. They have such a confusing billing system. They charge you two months sometimes, and now recently they charge 3 months at a go because they want to try and "catch up". I don't think that's fair to the consumer. Due to this, they also are unable to provide monthly bills, so please be aware of wrong calculations and overcharging. They also take very long to reply. Expect 2 - 3 weeks before they even bother they reply.

I had no issues with Sunseap for problems like overcharging that everyone else is complaining. The only issue i have with them is that strange billing method of combining 2 mths into one bill at times, making it difficult to track monthly usage and I think its the reason it gives impression of overcharging. It also needs to improve on its payment experience as i find it a hassle to pay their bills
