    Enhanced IncomeShield Advantage

IMO, Income offers comprehensive coverage at affordable prices. Their default coverage is for the really common illnesses and you can top up for other optional coverage, thus lowering their premium. Unless you are someone who is risk averse and want to cover as much as possible, their default coverage is good enough.

    Enhanced IncomeShield Basic

they are just ok & basic (coverage), u have to hand in your documents yourself......nothing much to praise them, speed of response also just ok! the ONLY sad thing is they do not allow u to opt for a rider (later) esp knowing or suspecting u have some potential illness (however, having 1 particular illness would indicate that u might have Cancer or other illness A to Z!!! hence it is unfair to exclude us from getting a rider) Due to pro-ration, deductibles and etc, u may end up still paying the bills (using your own cpf) Good thing is they often spent considerable effort in editing the documents to make reading it very laymen! ELse? they are cheap and affordable for a good reason, hence u cannot expect MORE from them!!!!! : (

How does NTUC Enhanced IncomeShield Compare with Other Integrated Shield Plans?

According to our calculations across 3 chosen age groups, NTUC IncomeShield is one of the most affordable Integrated Shield Plans for Class A, Class B, and Standard IP.

Standard Integrated Shield Plan Premiums for age 25 to 45

At age 25 to 35, NTUC Enhanced IncomeShield is priced below average for Class A and Class B and Standard IP. Thus, if your age next birthday is within 25 to 35 years old, you can definitely consider NTUC Enhanced IncomeShield for their affordability across 3 different tiers of plans.

Class A Ward Integrated Shield Plan Comparison

Note that the pricing system for NTUC Income's IP is different - Singaporean Citizens are charged lesser than Permanent Residents for Class B plans. At Age 45, the premium for permanent residents is above average. Hence PR applicants might want to be wary of this.

If you're looking for a Private Hospital IP, you should look somewhere else as NTUC Enhanced IncomeShield has one of the most expensive premiums for Private Hospital wards evidenced from the comparison chart below.
