This is my everyday card as it gives me 4 miles per dollar (MPD) for online and contactless. Add it to your GPay for ease of use.

My main card for all transactions above $5 and must be paywave transactions. Added into my Apple iPhone wallet and never has to bring the physical card out (as traditional swiping of the cards do you no justice with the miserable rewards). $5 paywave transactions earns you 20 Miles. Bear this in mind. Please avoid using this card via swiping or amount eg. $4.99. It’s a total waste. Also, merchant that pays Smart$ (eg. DFG Group), no Uni$ will be awarded but Smart$ will be awarded instead. Smart$ has an expiry date (couldn’t remember if it’s 6 months). Smart$ can be used to offset your purchase at any Smart$ merchant (but please bring your physical card out to pay via paywave. Apparently tapping using my Apple wallet doesn’t allows me to offset my Smart$. Do note that earning or the Uni$ (which can be exchange to shopping vouchers or air miles) has an expiry of 2 years too (similar to UOB Prvi). Don’t forget to log into your UOB mighty apps and click under the details to check out the expiry date. Don’t let all the awards go to waste. Upon the 2 years is up, you can exchange it to star alliance (eg. SQ) miles which has another validity period of I can’t remember if it’s 2-3 years. Personally, I use this card for 2 years and “earned” two tickets to and fro to New Zealand. Currently, I’m on my way to hit 2 tickets to US (provided leisure travel resume back to BAU once C-19 is over - praying 🙏🏻 soon it’ll be over).

Probably the best entry level card for collecting miles where miles calculations can be easily found on eStatements. 4miles per dollar for Online Shopping (excluding Travel iirc) and my #1 choice for Paywave, albeit minimum transaction value of $5. Customer service can be abit hit & miss, and experienced isn't as digitalized compared to DBS. Bonus that UOB points earned can be pooled from multiple cards making it easier to redeem for miles before they expire (unlike Citibank!)

This is a powerful card with no worry of hitting min spend and a generous award of 10X points for contactless transactions and certain online transactions. A must have in my wallet!!

My favourite card for contactless payment at 4mpd! However, do be aware that some places such as Cold Storage, Giant and BreadTalk awards $mart, rather than the desired UNI$.
