      DBS Altitude American Express® Card

I applied for this card so I could accumulate miles which has been good so far. However, so many places only accept Visa and Master, so I regret getting the Amex card over the Visa for the Altitude card. Will probably switch to the Visa soon. The only problem is that I cant monitor how my points are accumulated. I wish they would show a breakdown of each purchase and how many points I attain from that purchase.

[Hidden Terms] I never had issue buying things from Taobao and using the spending to hit the new cc spending to get sign up bonus. This is the first time I get rejected, and they cited it as MCC under "Professional Service". How could one know? It is under retail for every other card and other bank, only DBS/AMEX play this kind of stun. Nonsense excuse to not fulfil their own promotion. Spend thousands of dollars only to get told not eligible. Edit: After more digging, apparently since 2020 (I saw on forum dated 2020), people have been encountering the same issue - they did not get the promised bonus or promotion despite spending on it. What more, they have reflected it to the customer service officers, and they still did not revise the T&C to clearly state the exclusions. I suspect they intentionally left it ambiguous so they can scam people to spend and yet not having to pay out. This behaviour from DBS truly shocks me. [Customer Service] Customer service is 0/10. Gives template reply and then proceed to close case immediately without waiting for user to share if their needs have been met. That is not customer service, you are not a digibot. Even Taobao and many other places would check if the customer have any other questions before closing the case.
