    CIMB AWSM Card

Using this card to build credit score since there's no annual fees. Perks definitely not the best, but good as a starting point to learn how to manage credit cards.

    CIMB AWSM Card

Approval was fast and convenient, good for students and non working adults for easy cash back. However note that for any dispute in claims, you can only do it once a year , so make it count. Note that this doesn’t support Apple Pay.

    CIMB AWSM Card

A great card to build your credit score for those who just started working but aren't eligible for those mainstream cards. Comes with 1% cashback on what youngsters would normally spend on anyway (telco, online shopping, dining) and there's no annual fees whatsoever, so that's a bonus! I'd recommend this card for those wanting to try out credit cards for the first time because it comes with a nice $500 limit so you don't blow your budget. You'll definitely learn to manage your cashflow with this one.

First and foremost, they don't have any principal fee. ever! That is why it is called awsm, secondly, the app does make you tracking your spending's a whole lot easier, the only con is that the website interface could have been better. The card itself is wonderful and the $500 limit really lets you keep a hold of your spending's. Plus the Cash backs! it might not be big, but it is still something!

The Best Cash Back Credit Cards Review 2020: How does CIMB AWSM Compare?

Pros

Considering the age of eligibility and its areas of cashback, CIMB AWSM is a card geared towards the younger crowd. CIMB AWSM is a suitable starter card for young adults as it requires a very manageable annual income of S$18,000 for salaried applicants, and is also accessible to NSFs and non-income-earning applicants like students above 18 years old. Moreover, its annual fee is also free, and its cashback rewards have no cap!

Cons:

If you fall outside this intended age group, the rewards and lower-income requirement might not be of much incentive for you. If your spending habits do not fit the categories of dining, entertainment, online shopping and telco, perhaps other cards might be better for you.
