How can I better manage/grow my money on top of my current plans?

I'm a 22 y/o NSF with $62.4k savings - $19.8k in SCB Jumpstart (2% p.a), $41.8k in Etiqa Elastiq (2.02% p.a) and $800 in Stashaway (DCA monthly).

Continuing with University education in Aug 2020. Thinking of investing with Syfe. Any other suggestions? No ILPs or CFD (Pareto) please.

Hi!

Looking at your portfolio, I see that there is an average return of about 2%, which is pretty low. You can take on some additional risk and get a higher return on the same investment amount. After having a liquid fund kept aside as an emergency fund, you can use the rest to investment in ETFs, REITs etc. which may provide better return. You can also make use of a robo-advisor, which will generate an optimal portfolio for you based on your financial objectives and risk appetite.
I work at kristal.AI, and it's my passion to evaluate various upcoming investment opportunities.

Agree with Kelly, unless there's a need for cash within the next 3 years, you're probably a little too heavy on low yielding instruments.

I'd keep 6 months of expenses in a high interest savings account and the rest into a globally diversified portfolio matching my risk profile with a financial advisor (you've chosen Stashaway but you can test out Syfe or any other financial advisor in the market)

So if you spend 1k/mth, that'll be 6k in the bank, and the other 55k into such a portfolio.

But if there's any money earmarked within 3 years, I'd keep that aside and not expose that to the market.
