Planning to get one of these cards, the most common places I go to are either Malaysia or Thailand. I'm also planning to go to Taiwan next year, then maybe NZ a few years later. Which MCC would make the most sense for my scenario? which would be the most suitable card for me?

I have been using Youtrip all the time. I have heard that Revolut is quite competitive but I still have some credits in Youtrip. Might consider after!

I have both youtrip and revolut. In terms of user experience, youtrip was better for me. Revolut’s user experience was bad for me, there was a daily top up restriction limit of $400 per day. Didn’t know about this restriction limit until a week before my trip when I started to top up, it was painful to top up $400 per day and missed getting a good exchange rate due to insufficient funds in my account. On the same days during my holiday, youtrip offered better exchange rates than revolut. I couldn’t withdraw cash from revolut while in Osaka. That was traumatic, notwithstanding I could still use revolut as a debit card. Luckily I had youtrip which allowed me to withdraw cash. When one is running low on cash, the $5 admin charge is manageable. Btw in Osaka, the local admin fee is JPY220 about sgd 2.40, hence do check whether the local fee is better than incurring the sgd$5.
When I was in Osaka, I could only withdraw cash from the Post Office and not at any atm.
Hence my recommendation is youtrip over revolut.
