Contract expiring, when to switch to retain old number?

I'm planning to switch from Singtel to GOMO and retain the number. I'm still about 3 months before my contract ends. How and when should i switch over and still retain my Singtel's number? Will be my first time switching telco, thanks in advance.

Check if have penalty fees for early termination

if none, go ahead to sign up with gomo..

Wait till your contract is over or if there are no termination fees. Check with Singtel for your contract details.
