At a job now that I've never expected myself to be doing and don't plan on continuing this same line of work after I leave here one day. Have I wasted my time? Should I leave earlier then?

Working every single day is actually accmulating experience in a form, it will be useful sooner or later in your life.

Like what the others have mentioned, you've gained something valuable nonetheless and that's experience. As cliche as it may sound, any experience is good experience. So don't think that you've wasted your time in this current workplace because you haven't.

Whether you should leave earlier or not, you'll have to gauge and decide if your time spent there is worth it. But something you'll have to keep in mind is that the current climate is, unfortunately, less favourable to job seekers and this is something to prepare yourself for when trying to find a new job now. You can look around in the meantime and if something fitting comes up, you can then reconsider again. All the best.
