[Instructor] Rusmin and Victor clearly know their stuff, and the real-life cases they shared illustrate the importance of understanding the business and fundamentals of the companies before investing.
[Course Content] I've only dabbled in robo-advisors, because I don't know what to look out for, but the course is perfect for beginners who want to DIY. Generally, I found the content easy to understand, the only barrier towards applying them would be my own inaction. The online modules provided more information towards building my financial literacy, such as recommending books that teach me, a total noob in accountancy, on how to read company's financial statements, which I found tremendously useful.
Of course, the Fifth Person has videos on YouTube on how to do that too and ways to evaluate REITs, which is also helpful for me, just that Dividend Machines put them all together into a coherent whole and provide stronger support to guide us on. Since I don't know what I don't know, being in the community forum/ webinar and reading the questions other people pose help to fill in my knowledge gaps. Both Rusmin and Victor were very responsive towards answering the questions, and would caution where appropriate.
[Others] They do sell their services/ courses too (I mean, they need to eat, right?), it's easy to see that it comes from a genuine place to want to help us succeed, or in other words, "aligned" with their community :'D And to do what they're doing requires a lot of hard work analyzing companies and putting together things for us, and they're teaching us how to fish, so I think it's worth the money put in. Would be trying out their teaching on analyzing companies on my off days.
