I felt quite challenged with OCBC when it comes to late charges waiver requests. There was one case where i missed out few dollars accidentally after making my monthly bill payment. The bank system automatically charged 200 over dollars late fee in the subsequent months, which is 20-30 times of my actual spend. After realising it, I tried a few times to call OCBC bank to ask for waiver, but was not able to get an approval. Finally, I escalated the issue to the bank customer service manager in Malaysia and got a special approval for it. After the case is settled, i also cancelled my OCBC card, as i think that it is really troublesome and need to spend a lot of time and energy to ask for waiver due an honest mistake of a few dollars late payment.0

- Singaporeans, Permanent Residents: Minimum annual income of $30,000
- Foreigners: Minimum annual income of $45,000 and above
Fees And Charges For OCBC Platinum Credit Card
- Annual Principle Fee: $165.60 (First 2 years waived)
- Annual Supplementary Card fee: $80.25 (First 2 years waived)
- Fee waiver: Available (provided that you hit the minimum spending of at least S$10,000 in 1 year, starting from the month in which the card is issued)
- Interest-Free Period: 23 days
- Annual Interest Rate: 26.88%
- Minimum monthly payment: 3% or $50, whichever is higher
- Late payment charge: $100
- Cash advance fee: 6% or $15, whichever is higher
- Administration Fee: S$150 to accelerate payment of automatic instalments
- Extension of instalment term: 3% of outstanding amount applies for 3- and 6-month term extension, and 5% of outstanding amount applies for 12-month term extension.
