Puttng aside your position with CPF and on a neutral platform, shd i be better off FRS and invest the rest, given the possiblity of a larger amt locked in for a longer period with ERS? Single and average life expectancy as 82 for male.

Just FRS.
For myself I know where to put monies for stable returns of 6-7% / year. I will hit FRS before 55 years old (Without factoring in OA at all) because I contribute $7k to CPF-SA yearly for the tax rebate.
