My 3 yo child is a foreigner (my spouse and I are residents) and we are going to holidays departing from Singapore. Most travel insurance in Singapore do not cover foreigners - what options do we have here?
You can consider checking out family travel insurance plans. E.g. Etiqa ePROTECT travel insurance, check it out here https://www.etiqa.com.sg/online/quotation/ePROTECT-travel-insurance
So long as your child is
"A legal child including stepchild and/or legally adopted child of the Policy Owner;"
Tiq by Etiqa Insurance is the only insurer in Singapore that covers foreigners (non Singapore residents). However do note that the coverage for the foreigner will only start from Singapore. You can find out more from their website ( https://www.tiq.com.sg/product/travel-insurance/# ) or policy wording ( https://www.tiq.com.sg/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/TIQ_TRAVEL_POLICY_WORDING.pdf )
My girl friend is a Malaysian come to Singapore going with me to Australia
I make enquires no Insurance Company insured a Foreigner for Travel insurance
Could you recommend a Company can take her to be cover
Actually some travel insurance in Singapore cover foreigners who are residing in Singapore. You must have a FIN number, can't be a tourist in Singapore. I see that you are residents here, so no problem. If you still need help, you can email me at [email protected]
