this website compares the best trading platforms based on market access, commissions fee, and platform fees! i think people usually recommend IBKR, it’s probably the most popular so you can consider that, or also try tiger too

I personally use moomoo (futu) as i find the app very intuitive and beginner friendly too.

i started getting interested in trading last year, and downloaded the moomoo app to explore first. i really enjoy their free courses which is constantly updated and was also able to create a watchlist for the stocks and industries i am interested in. after that, i got more confident (since i was armed with more knowledge) and started investing is some stocks, mostly US market. & recently, with their lifetime 0 commission, it was even more value for money!

i had looked into tiger brokers too but i gave up after not being able to get help from their customer service (it was really bad...) and their fees are higher than moomoo. at least with moomoo, i was able to reach out to their customer service almost immediately. hope this helps you in your decision!
