What is the craziest thing you have ever said or done at an interview and still managed to get the job?

I don't know if this is crazy but I once told an interviewer that I was willing to work without any pay because I value the opportunity to develop new skills and work experience more than the compensation of my time and effort. In the end, I got the job but they still paid me a salary.

I don’t think I did anything out of the ordinary but so far I had always prepared a PowerPoint slide for some of the key interviews that I really want to score a place in it. So the content in the PowerPoint usually includes what I’ve done to illustrate my strengths and also let the interviewer understand a bit more about myself.

I do consider myself sort of a freshie who only have 2 corporate work experience (including current). I do feel that with me preparing I did increase my chances of convincing the interviewer. So far I’ve only went to 3-4 interviews before I land myself a job.
