Trust Bank Sure-Win Gift Explained: Code 2GG9T8K3 (S$18-S$8,000)

"Sure-win" sounds too good to be true, so here's exactly how it works - and why it's not a trick.

How it's structured: there are exactly six possible outcomes - S$18, S$28, S$88, S$288, S$888, and S$8,000. Every person who qualifies gets one of these. The distribution between tiers isn't published by Trust Bank, but S$18 being the floor means nobody walks away empty-handed.

It's genuinely no-minimum-spend: unlike many "welcome gift" promos that need S$500 or S$1,000 in card spend within 30 days, the sure-win gift only requires you to sign up using the referral code and apply for a credit card. That's the qualifying action - no spend gate.

Cash vs stock - how it's decided: it follows whichever quarterly reward your Freedom card is set to at the time your scratch card is issued. On Stockback, your gift is stock (USD denomination, one of seven US stocks/ETFs). On any cashback option, or on a Trust Link card, it's cash in SGD. The tiers are the same either way - 18, 28, 88, 288, 888, 8,000.

How to get yours:

1. Download the Trust Bank app.
2. Enter 2GG9T8K3 at the very first "Get Started" screen.
3. Apply for the Freedom or Trust Link credit card.
4. Within 24 hours of approval, go to Rewards - Quests and tap your Golden Scratch Card to reveal.

One thing that isn't guaranteed: the scratch card disappearing if you skip the referral code entry at step 2. No code at sign-up, no scratch card. It cannot be fixed afterward.
