TLDR:
Investment noob wanting to understand brokerage charges...
Do they have a new funding fee structure which charges for cash deposits?
The Long Version...
Wanna start on the investment journey so have been looking around for a cheap, reliable brokerage.
IBSG looks like a decent choice, esp since they've removed their Inactivity Fee.
But was wondering if there's any catch to it, so dug around & saw the above link (Under Price -> Other Fees -> Other Fees).
It states that for Cash Deposits – Minimum Charge and Fee: SGD 1%, min $65
Rather concerned, but reviews I found say it's free to deposit $, with no min amt (excl. any wire transfer fees one may incur).
Is this Deposit Fee new? Or am I misunderstanding something?
TIA :)
