Insurance

I'm looking for PA insurance. I am not so concerned about small accidents such as sprains etc but more concerned about catastrophic events. I'm holding a desk-bound job. What is a good-for-value plan?

I was introduced Great Protector Active which has high coverage but the premium is too high for me. I am currently looking at AIA Solitaire and SOMPO PAStar. SOMPO seems to cover much more at a lower premium than most other insurance companies' PA plan so it sounds quite dubious. How are your claims processes like with these plans? Feel free to recommend other plans too!

Hey there!

In general, PA plans can offer different tiers of coverage depending on your needs and budget. AIA Solitaire offers a basic plan that covers accidental deaths, burns and dismemberments and disability due to accidents as well as the minor injuries that may require TCM or chiropractor reimbursements.

AIA Solitaire also allows the options for add-ons that cover weekly income options you are unable to work due to an accident or hospitalization income benefits in the event you are hospitalized due to an accident and broken bones benefits as well. So I will say it is comprehensive and customizable according to your budget and needs.

Feel free to reach out if you need an AIA representative to explore your options!
