If you have TD Ameritrade, do it there cuz free trading! If you don't, then I would recommend FSM RSP cuz only 1USD. I signed up for TD late last yr, still not open.

Many ppl would recommend Interactive Brokers, but I'm super turned off by the inactivity fee. Swhy I don't use Saxo too cuz of the custodian fee.

I'm using Tiger brokers to buy the dips cuz it's 1.99USD+0.14USD for GST. So this would b good to do adhoc buys when markets are down. No custodian fee! So maybe you could consider FSM for monthly DCA and a low cost broker like tiger or moo moo for adhoc buys.

Above mentioned brokers are generally quite safe as it is MAS regulated. So the stocks/units are required to be stored in custodian accounts that are not mingled with the company's finances. So if the company tohs, your stocks are not affected.

Just my 2cents worth. You do you.
