As generous as Giga is with their mobile plans, I've noticed that everytime I use past 10GB in a day, the speed will drop drastically. At first I thought it's a one off thing but after using for many months, I noticed this happens whenever I cross around the 10GB mark for the day. And the original speed restores around after 1AM from what I noticed.
I tried looking it up in their website but I can't find any policy on it, not even the fair usage policy mentions it for normal usage. I tried asking their customer service but their chat is really horrendous as they'll disconnect and then leave you hanging. And then I have to create a new chat and then repeat myself all over again.
I managed to successfully contact one agent without interruptions and was told they'll submit a ticket on this matter as they do not throttle data. It's been more than 4 months and I've yet to hear from them. They've probably kicked the ticket aside, seeing how they've handled my past queries.
Am I the only one facing this issue in data throttling or are there others facing the same issue like me? Am thinking of switching telcos soon if I can't find any solution to this as I see no point paying them for a 200GB plan if I can't use what I paid for without getting capped at 10GB a day
