Hi anon,

Are you looking for a lump sum payout or reimbursement for cancer treatment costs?

If you're looking for a lump sum payout, there are various cancer only plans to choose from. Suffice to say that the permutations are quite extensive and it would be better to speak with an independent financial advisor to know all your options.

If it is reimbursement, most shield plans would reimburse the cost of cancer treatment up to certain limits, whether the treatment uses a CDL drug or non CDL drug. Naturally, the non CDL treatments will have lower limits, in which case, your shield plan may have additional riders that will cover additional coverage. For example, AIA Healthshield Gold Max has an optional Cancer Care Booster that provides additional coverage. If your shield insurer does not have such riders, then Singlife Cancer Cover Plus provides additional coverage (subject to a deductible/co payment by you) that does not matter which shield plan you are having.

Hi you can consider Singlife's Cancer Cover Plus.
