[Claims Process] Claiming for lost items was very easy. Best to have proof of purchase to get best claim otherwise you get minimum, which is reasonable. Having a dedicated claims officer is a plus as it facilitate the resolution of issues.0

Extremely happy with Direct Asia, have renewed already with them. Had to claim a trip due to an injury and it was a breeze and was paid in a week. They are also pretty much the only ones I found that cover extreme sports (not for competition purposes) I did see my premium go up a bit - so do take not of that.0

Their claim (medical) process is way too long as compared to NTUC Income or Etiq. Needs improvement. Perhaps I claimed during Nov holiday seasons? It had been almost 1 mth and still pending.3

They offer various insurance coverage plans, including Annual Plans and Single Trip Plans.

- Individual Plans: For one pax

Which Travel Insurance is better for me?
If you are travelling alone, the Individual Plan should suffice.
If you are travelling with 1 or more friends/relatives, the Group Plan is more apt as you are able to enjoy further discounts if you are travelling with 3 or more people.

Additional Things To Know About DirectAsia Travel Insurance
- Seniors aged 71 and older would have half the maximum payout of the adult limits where relevant

- There is a cancellation fee of SGD $10 should you need to cancel your policy

I bought fwd in my next travel and claim was like within hours and payout within 24 hours. direct Asia travel insurance claim process sucks. it is already 21 working days and I am still waiting for their response
