[How I gotten to know]
I was introduced to the SAFRA debit card when I was in the army. It was the first time getting my hands on a debit card, and I signed on the 10-years membership. I can tell you honestly, I have no regrets!
On top of the basic SAFRA membership card, you have the option to get a debit & membership card 2-in-1. That's what I did. This debit card works like any others, what's worthy to note is the cashbacks it offers, and the ZERO subscription fees for the debit card!
The SAFRA debit card offers attractive cashback rewards, 2% cash rebate on your local Mastercard contactless transactions; 1% cash rebate on online transactions; and 0.3% cash rebate* on all other retail transactions.
How this card differs from other debit card cashbacks is that it offers in the form of SAFRA$, this will be reflected in the SAFRA$ segment in your bank summary. Well you can use them to offset your bills when you dine or shop at any SAFRA branches, or if you would like, you can also redeem them to cash to be credited to your bank account (each SAFRA$ is equivalent to $1)!
There is literally ZERO subscription fees. You just need to pay for your SAFRA membership fees, but there will be no add-on payments if you would like to get the SAFRA debit card. There is no other pre-requsites or hidden t&c, except for the fact that you need to spend a minimum of $400 to be eligible for the cashbacks, which is not hard to achieve at all!
Overall, great card for youngsters who already have a valid SAFRA membership!
