ICBC UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card

Got the card due to ability to spend in CNY in China. While it is possible; be careful as some merchants are picky about the card, so even though on surface looks fine (ICBC branded and BIN corresponds to CN issued) machines may reject. Also do make sure have PIN set up as China merchants generally do not allow signature only transactions. When settling the credit card bill - do note you need to go to ICBC branch at Raffles Place with the CNY notes, so a bit inconvenient. CS a bit spotty - calling in for fee waiver (they are generous with initial period - 3 years but eventually need to go through) and they put me on hold for 11 minutes before... cutting me off! Perhaps a one-off because on calling again, did get someone real immediately. It does feel a bit "China style" with the IVR saying "you are being served by staff number XXXX". Anyway, style issues aside, they did process fee waiver without issues so happy enough.
