      DBS Vantage Card

Good miles earnings rate for a general spend card however that’s about the only positive anymore. Other benefits are pretty pathetic compared to other cards in this category. A few lounge visits that is minimal compared to other cards. I find Accor Plus to be useless and vast majority of the time the only hotels you can get for the free night are low quality. Biggest issue for me is that it lacks any purchase protections which in my opinion is the best benefit of other credit cards. I will just stick to Amex rather than risk fraud etc using a DBS card If an unscrupulous merchant fails to deliver goods and then never replies to messages and leaves no way to contact in my experience reliable card companies like Amex will refund the funds to the customer. DBS will simply tell the customer to contact the merchant, despite the fact it is clearly not possible I also rate DBS fraud prevention very poorly All in all the additional points earning is nowhere worth the risk of dealing with DBS over more reliable institutions
