Which Telco do you think is the best, in terms of customer service, price, and connection?

I'm currently using Singtel's SIM-Only plan, but might want to change out!

circles.life without a doubt. The app is brilliant, but shifted out due to data being capped. The top 3 telcos are outright scams imo. Better value at smaller telcos

Tried the following telcos in the list.

  1. M1 - Good coverage with proper Customer Service
  2. Circles.Life - Similar to M1 but lesser priority due to MVNO status, even better Customer Service.
  3. Zero1 - No-fuss usage via SingTel network but bad in Customer Service and response
  4. Starhub (Current) - So far so good, no complaints. Data coverage can be a bit spotty.

Pricing wise so far is Starhub having the cheapest deal with good bundled data pack, 9GB data with Weekend Unlimited Data, 200 mins talktime (no SMS though), for the price of $24 (add $6 for 3GB Data after first 6 months).

Comes with free CallerID for 2 years (CIS benefit), Starhub XS (SIM-Only) plan.

I am currently using M1 Sim-E 118 plan... It gives you unlimited talk time, sms and "unlimited" data (up to 50gb @ full speed, 1mbps speed @ unlimited after your 50gb data used.) So far data connection wise quite stable and reasonable speed while on the go, except NEL which is horrible during peak hours... You can switch to 3G network when u r in NEL if urgently need to use mobile data.

One of the best using M1 would be the data passport which allows you to bring 30gb local data to overseas at a minimal charge... It will be good for those who always travel around...

My choice of the Best: Circle Life.

  1. Customer Service: Using their app for most service or feature can be activated / discontinue by their apps. This save everybody time's where I don't need to wait for the telco (especially Starhub) CSO for 20 mins and nobody answer my calls to do simple things such as data top up. True the rest of the old boys telco has beef up their app but so far Circle's still the best and email respond is fast too.

  1. Price: $28 with 6GB, 100mins (talktime), caller ID, unlimited whatsapp.

(note: add $2 for unlimited incoming calls, since the 100 mins is TALKTIME not Outgoing call time)

ā€‹

  1. Connections: It uses M1 network, so far issue has been resolve. So far so good.

ā€‹

In modern mobile usage, we don't call out much, we dont' really SMS, these 2 are minimal.

ā€‹

We still receive some calls and we use Data the most due to smart phone usage. Thus this is the best modern all rounder plan.

ā€‹

The only downside is that they don't subsidize phone because it's a no contract plan so you can go / change anytime.
