From your profile, I would think that you would have more cash at hand and would not have any dependants in the future.

But on the flip side, you might not have someone to take care of you in the unfortunate event that you suffer from a disability in the future.

Agree with Joel that Aviva is the most compelling option :) I don't think the recommendation changes whether you choose to remain single or get married. But yes, all the more because you have no intention of having any dependants, you should look into ensuring you have sufficient insurance so that you can self-support in any form of unforeseen events.
