What other cards can hold their own against the UOB PRVI Miles Card when it comes to overseas spend?

I know that the UOB PRVI Miles Card has a 4.4 mpd for overseas spending, firstly what qualifies for overseas spend, and are there any other cards that can hold their own in this area?

Hi anon,

The PRVI Miles 4.4mpd only applies to overseas dining, shopping (including online shopping) and accommodation transactions, capped at S$3,000 till end of last year. The promotion has ended.

The best overseas spend card now in general would be OCBC 90N with 4mpd uncapped, till end Feb.

After that, your best bet is the BOC Elite miles at 3mpd uncapped for payment processing done out of Singapore, with no strings attached.

UOB Visa Signature also has 4mpd on payment processing done out of Singapore but will require a minimum of $1K spent on foreign currency and the benefit is capped at $2K foreign currency per statement month.

SCB VI allows 3mpd as well, but requires a minimum of $2K overall spend.

Hi, do note that you no longer enjoy 4.4mpd on overseas spend with the UOB Prvi Miles card. Thus, till the end of this month, you can use OCBC 90N for unlimited 4mpd on overseas spend or UOB Visa Signature for 4mpd for up to $2000 of overseas spend after this month.
