A Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) is a permit that allows homeowners to occupy the building temporarily when the key requirements are met as it may take some time to obtain the Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC).

Basically it's the date where the first batch of home owners can get their keys and move in to their new place.

It also is the date which by right on paper you will need to start servicing the bulk of your home loan :) (HDB or Bank loan)

My new BTO TOPs in 2021! Can't wait.

For those people who has gotten a HDB BTO, usually do you guys get your flat earlier before the completion date or after? If so, what is the time window? Just want to gauge for mine since TOP is 2026.

Is the eligibility of purchasing new EC & HDB unit the same other than having income capped for EC? If my household income is too high for a new EC, is it true that I can only buy new HDB?

If I buy a resale HDB before selling and take a 2nd HDB loan, between the refund to CPF and HDB wipe out of OA, can I transfer part of the OA to SA? Or must all refunded CPF go to the new HDB loan?

Is it a good idea to top up my CPF Medisave? And why are so many people against topping up MA or SA?

Why do people not do a search to see if the questions they are about to ask have been asked before? Getting irritated seeing repeat questions *rolls eyes* ?
