Is it worth getting bachelors with honours? Any advantages with regards to salary or chances of being accepted into a “higher” role?

I’m studying part time and my course has the honours option whereby students will qualify only if their GPA is 3.5 and above. As I’m looking to go towards the data science field in the future, I’m not sure if I should work towards getting the honours or just settling for the normal degree. Any advice?

First job maybe important, subsequent is all about your experience and what u can bring to the table. Just paper qualifications

If you're able to, do try to get your honours. I think it does open up more opportunities as compared to without honours, all else equal of course.
