I’ve applied for standard charted unlimited credit card. Can this card be used to satisfy the DBS Multiplier card component or must it be a DBS/POSB credit card?

I’m a fresh grad who just started my first job. Apologies if this question is lame, I’m just starting out!

Only spend on DBS/POSB credit Card is counted for the DBS multiplier.

You can just spend any amount on the DBS/POSB credit card (no min spend) to fulfil that criteria.

Nope! DBS Multiplier requires spend from POSB or DBS cards! For the easiest way to fulfil, you can get a POSB everyday card, spend $1 on Mcdonalds ice cream a month.

Hi, no worries, we have all been there.

It needs to be a DBS card and I suggest getting the Live Fresh card. There's 5% cashback for online purchases and visa contactless (e.g. simplygo). A one time use of this card monthly (no min spend) already grants you 1.85% on your Multiplier.

For non-online and non-contactless purchases, feel free to use your SC Unlimited. Or when you have hit the cap for the DBS Live Fresh ($20 for online/visa contactless cashback each), go back to using your SC. I'm not sure what your expenditure is like but these are my recommendations :)
