I'm working in a family business, but I feel that there's no future in it. How to I convince my father to let me work outside instead?

You can see e family business, if its well-ru & managed as a steady source of passive cash generation. Use that money to diversify into other interest/passion projects later on

You got a headstart with family business. Maybe you can find ways to transform it instead of going out.

Being a family business you have more power to chart the future. If it is brick and mortar, maybe setup a website, start e-commerce for it?

I know some friends who have small family business like selling dried food, and went to e-commerce too.
