I am a newly-divorced mother of 1. I would like to buy a 3rm resale flat near my parents at Bukit Batok. How much grant can I get if my Monthly Gross Salary is about 3.7k?

My divorce was finalized this year in July. I was suppose to collect my BTO keys in July 2017 but didn't do so.

Hi anon,

If you have not taken formal possession of the BTO, you would be eligible for:

Singles Grant: If you are above 35, $25K (since you are looking at a 3 room) ( https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/residential/buying-a-flat/resale/single-singapore-citizen-scheme-or-joint-singles-scheme )
Enhanced CPF Housing Grant: $10K based on your income ( https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/residential/buying-a-flat/new/schemes-and-grants/cpf-housing-grants-for-hdb-flats/single-singapore-citizen-scheme )
Proximity Housing grant: As long as the flat is within 4km, flat amount of $10K ( https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/residential/buying-a-flat/resale/living-with-near-parents-or-married-child )

Total grants would be $45K if you are above 35, or $20K.
