In the beginning even with good performance the absolute gains are small, you need a lot of patience to stay course.

when You reached several hundred thousand SGD and your good performance

persists, it is incredible what happens ... choose wisely ...

Won't disclose the numbers but I started at the end-ish of 2017. So I missed most of the big gains of that year.

2018, I didn't lose money while most equity markets was in the negative and 2019 did pretty well, outperforming most benchmarks.

In total I have about a 15% annualized gain since inception on a pure equity portfolio.

But most of my returns for the next 10 years will still be how much capital is injected and not the return.
